Great food especially the Star hotel which gave Seniors discount. Must visit the Crocodile farm and the Cooberie wildlife park. If you are into history there is a beautiful outdoor chapel built by the Americans call Christophers Chapel. Well worth the short detour.

Lovely village feel to the community with a great range of restaurant options, supermarkets, and most of all sensational beaches that have very few ppl on them. Any one looking for a sleepy little town for a few days get away, you will love it. Eating at "The Attic", the local RSL, The Pacific Hotel, and Vue all recommended. Its easy to walk around Yeppoon but a car is recommended to see all there is to see up and down the coastline with a great scenic drive down to Emu Park.

    Great place for a holiday

Great place for a holiday Some lovely restaurants and bars especially Vue , Alfie’s and The Alley The Rocks restaurant is over rated for its dining experience Town is easy to walk around and enjoy Lacking some nicer high end shops for women’s clothing and accessories Weather is great with a nice breeze A trip over to Great Keppel Island is an absolute must as it is unbelievably beautiful and a lovely beach to swim at

Great cafes and restaurants, a very relaxing layback atmosphere! Loved great Keppel island. I wouldn’t stay in the main part of town again , I rather stay somewhere quiet. Our favourite restaurant was the Rocks, best cafe was Lure

We generally found the retail outlets well stocked, fair prices, convenient and with helpful staff and dining facilities at clubs etc were very adequate. We used Salon 10 for hair appointments and the staff were well trained and did an excellent job at a most reasonable price. The park and playground for children was amazing......so all were catered for.

Great location, large apartment with everything you need. The host goes above and beyond to make sure your beach holiday is enjoyable by providing not only accommodation needs, but plenty of leisure activities too I.e. kayak, beach chairs, kites etc. The apartment block is beachfront, so just open the gate, cross the grass area, and you are on the path through the dunes. This apartment is in a quiet beach location, but so close to the main section of Yeppoon. The double lock up garage was a added bonus, and check in and check out was a breeze.

I am very dissapointed👎🏻 We booked for 2 Rooms for 2 Nights and they charged me $640 for 2 Rooms but they on our second day we are on swimming pool n preparing the Barbie for family and my Birthday Cake they send me message to pack out and the house keeper-cleaner also said we have to leave for the next guest are coming. We pack up and all our food waisted and not even blow my birthday candle cake😭 And worse that was March 20 and until now they are not giving our Refund for 1 day we paid for 2 Rooms😡

Room was a little dated considering the price of the room. Property is a good location if you are wanting to catch the early morning ferry to Great Keppel Island, though a bit of a drive from the action of Yeppoon and difficult to get taxis if you plan to have a few drinks. Beachfront, so nice view if you are staying in an ocean view room type. Mini bar was a nice touch though we did not use it.

Such a lovely property, Will be recommending to family & friends. It is cosy and comfortable with great views and amenities. The one downside was the top floor bedroom mattress was lumpy and very firm, having said that it did not detract from our stay, but is worth noting. Contact & instructions were very easy, I wish we could have stayed longer. Bravo on a wonderful Unit.

The staff was incredibly helpful!! They went out of their way to help me finalise a gift by printing a page for me - I was so grateful and they were happy to help. Cleanliness level was great and the views from the balcony were just lovely. We loved how close the hotel was to everything in town and we just loved the lagoon area in the centre of town.

The stay consisted of a small villa with a twin bed and then two singles connected by a shared bathroom. There was a good sixed kitchen and lounge area, a separate laundry area within the villa and access to a patio out the back sliding doors. The bed and pillows are one of the best hotel sleeps I have ever had.

Probably the best 'hostel' I've ever stayed in. Lovely atmosphere, really nice decor and very clean. More like a house share than a hotel or hostel. Really big, comfortable communal area. Lovely private room. Dorms looked good too. Nice showers and toilets. Would definitely stay again.

The view was amazing! Location was great also, just a short walk to the main area along the beach. There is a hill to walk back up to the accomodation but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful in letting us know where we should go to explore Yeppoon.

We had a good sea view from our room. Salt is in an ideal location for most services you could want. We atre several times at The Spinnaker Restaurant (Great Keppel Sailing Club) which serves good family fare and seemed to be well patronised.

value for money, could not believe the size of the veranda on the two bedroom deluxe and the bedrooms/living areas for the price. Would stay here over other more modern hotels in the area if given the option based on availability.
