Small room on first floor in a single house with comfortable bed and small bathroom with shower. The host was exceptionally friendly. The ground level was extraordinary decorated and had a stunning view to the backyard and the river. The breakfast had everything that one can wish and was professionally presented.
Place is 30 min ride from Brussels and was a perfect stop on our way to Calais. Lots of dining facilities close by available.

Late check-in was super easy and flexible; the hosts were very responsive and the flat had everything to spend a relaxing short stay before making our final trip back home.
The shower was a highlight and the equipment in the kitchen (tea, coffe pads) allowed us to continue our travel on the early monring well refreshed.

The hotel was small but nice, the staff were very friendly, however the manager was unapproachable but accommodating. The reception area was calm, quiet, and welcoming. It was a clean hotel with a friendly atmosphere.
Located right next to Aalst Train Station, Hotel de la Gare offers functional guest rooms, free access to wireless internet and a snack bar with a terrace.

Its clean, they have a nice shower and the staff is friendly. Only the breakfast is a bit mid.
Its definitely with the money and the location is perfect, just know that your next to a train station and a lot of different people come there, it has nothing to do with the hotel. But just keep it in mind.
