There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...
There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.SvetlanaUnited Kingdom

If you are travelling through Bulgaria to Greece, this hotel is just two kilometres from the main road, it is in a park and well worth the extra distance. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay there again. The breakfast was nice (I ate the #5) and they actually know how to make English tea. The bathrooms are very large. The balcony was convenient. WiFi was fast and free.

Small, clean and warm. I felt at home. Carpets, linens and bathroom are immaculate. It will be much better if they increase the breakfast option in the future. The staff is very caring. No parking problem. In front of the hotel and adequate. It is in the center of the city and you can reach the center in 5 minutes by walking. I would definitely recommend.

The host had taken care of every detail and the apartment was decorated with style. The place was very clean and cosy and equipped with all the necessary items. There were 2 seperate bedrooms and a living room and it was comfortable for 4-5 adults. Definitely recommend!
