Location, facilities and staff are top notch
Location: just right at the exit. Cant go lost. I booked this hotel because it was the nearest to the zoo (15min drive) and to jollibee ajax (5min)
Facilities: we got a king room for my toddler and i. I requested for a room with microwave as we are still on feeding bottles at night time. To my surprise, not only did we get a microwave. We got a full sized fridge and dishwasher. Basic utensils and small appliances are included with our kitchenette. We got a flat stove too. 2pcs of dishwasher soap aswell. They also had a nice small indoor pool which we had all to ourselves during our stay. Not alot had been using it. Pool is not deep, perfect for the little ones to enjoy and for parents who cant swim like me 😅pool is open from 6am-11pm i think. Breakfast was good. They have hot breakfast buffet from 7-10am. Plenty of parking space for free. Which is a great plus for us.
Staff: theyre all terrific!! I had mistakenly booked our stay a day in advance and realized and checked lated at night before our initial stay date. Called right away and they were nice enough to change our dates. However i had to pay for whatever is the current prize of the room now. Which was fine coz it was my fault anyways. Reception, breakfast and housekeeping staff ive met were very helpful. I wish i had remembered to get their names to thank them here.

Ajax is one of the four cities in the Durham Region just...
Ajax is one of the four cities in the Durham Region just east of Toronto. Depending on traffic on highway 401, you can drive to, for example, Toronto Zoo in about 20 Minutes. In the east-west direction there are also trains (GO and Via Rail) available for day trips (e.g. to Toronto). You can enjoy the beaches and Marinas along Lake Ontario from Oshawa to Scarborough, which are also accessible with public transport (city buses which connect all four Durham cities); however, using your own car is a lot faster. Some beaches, like Lakeview Beach in Oshawa, also have life guards on duty (particularly during tourist season and on weekends). We reached this beach by car via the 401 in about 10 minutes (starting from our hotel in Ajax). All Durham cities have a selection of excellent restaurants. Just ask locals for recommendations. And for shopping enthusiasts, there are lots of big shopping malls. Most beaches were open during the time we stayed in Ajax despite restrictions during the pandemic (which were just being lifted at that time in mid-August). The location of the hotel was perfect, minutes from both the 401 & the venue. The room was huge and very clean. The beds were super comfy. We had plenty of room for 5 of us to get ready for the wedding thanks to the 2 bathrooms & large kitchen & living room area. The free breakfast in the morning was an added bonus. A perfect stay!
