We had a very good buffet style breakfast with a great variety of offerings and wonderful wait staff. The room was spacious, had an excellent shower and washroom and a comfy king size bed with a great TV. The reception staff were welcoming and very helpful. Next time we'll bring our bathing suits and use the pool. It's a great hotel for a one or two nights stay, and it's very conveniently located by the QEW and not far from the GO train. Parking is free as well. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I was really just in and out (quick trip to see the eclipse)...
I was really just in and out (quick trip to see the eclipse). This was a great hotel and one where a person, couple or family could have a mini vacation, with pool, good restaurants on-site, room service, etc. It's also well appointed for conferences (and one would assume for wedding receptions). The Steakhouse would be great for 'special' evenings and the Denny's is very good (service, food, prices) for families.

Did not see much of Oakville. Was just here for a couple of hockey games. We stayed in the Monte Carlo Inn on the south side near Ford Plant. Not a pleasant location as it was in an industrial area with large decrepit undeveloped industrial property beside us and nothing within walking distance.RobbCanada - 10Scored 10

We were at a conference during our stay so we didn't get to do much in Oakville. I used to live in Toronto and would visit Oakville frequently, especially downtown on the Lakeshore. I was amazed at all the buildings on Dundas! Next time I plan to visit downtown and some of the restaurants that I remember, if they are still there.

Theres a kitchen and frig for eating and cooking.There are several rooms to stay in , in the basement.He gave us an air mattress so we could sleep separate in a room with only one large bed. It was a good value for the money, we only needed a place to sleep inexpensively. Eating out in Toronto was quite expensive. It was OK for 2 nights to visit friends in Oakville.
