I found the suite to be extremely clean and the kitchenette was well-equipped for everything you would need to cook a meal. There was even a dishwasher! The hotel is very pet-friendly and they even have magnets to put on the door that indicate you have a pet inside for housekeeping staff, and a special designated dog walking zone marked on one of the exit doors. Outside there is a nice grassy area for pets to "do their business", and lots of sidewalks and grass to walk your dog with plenty of bins outside to dispose of pet waste. So nice to have a continental breakfast buffet included and it was VERY good! The dining area has lots of tables and the hotel was not very busy during our stay.

This hotel's staff were audaciously asking for 20% tips at breakfast. When we carried no cash, we were even ask to charge it to our room service bills. We are a senior couple travelling from U.S. and this was our first and last time to Hilton Garden Inn at Markham (Highway 7 and Highway 404). Very bad experience.

Nice to have a microwave and a fridge. The location of the hotel is excellent on the border of North York and Thornhill giving access to both. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good selection of cereals, yoghurt, toast, waffles, pancakes, porridge and boiled eggs.

The bed is very comfortable, The linen is clean and soft and totally white. King size is huge. It fits Me, my 2 toddlers, and my husband. The other room is for my 2 girls. I would recommend this for a big family that visit Toronto. Also, the place is not crowded. Parking is safe. It's just 20 mins away from city proper.
