The house is just around the corner of the bus station; surprisingly the owner was even waiting at the bus station for me and helped me with the suitcase. There is also a small shop just around the corner. The place is very clean and has everything what one needs; even coffee and tea in the room. The owners are very friendly and I am looking forward to stay there again. Thank you !

Love the location. It was in the farm area in a little town outside of schaffhausen. It was quiet and peaceful and a nice change from the more urban areas. It was also nice and clean , and had all the items a family needs for a comfortable stay! The owner was very responsive when we had questions. It was a great location for exploring neighboring towns and attractions. We will come back!

This is an exceptionally well run and appointed hotel, offering a very generous buffet breakfast, including most everything one might expect. And the housekeepers, aside from one problem (see below) provided excellent room preparation both before and during our short stay.

The room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, and we also ate in the restaurant in the evening - a nice range of choices on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. In a bit of spare time it was nice taking a walk up into the woods at the rear of the hotel.
Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century.

A short drive from Shaffhausen, so easy to access shops and restaurants. There was a restaurant in the village but it was closed. We visited nearby Wildensbuch Turm for some nice views of the countryside, and then rode our bikes to Stein Am Rhein, via Diessenhofen. Car was safely parked for the day.
