Our host Mrs Paula was very sweet and took great care of us during our stay! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the restaurant, which has a typical cozy Swiss look to it. Great hotel right on the lake! We stayed as a stop on the TMB and this was a wonderful place to rest and reset after lots of hiking. We literally walked across the street to jump in the lake. Both of our rooms had massive balconies that looked out at the water. The shower/sink in our bathroom had some issues, but the staff was friendly when things came up. Overall a very charming hotel with lovely people running it! Champex Lac is adorable!

This was our 6th hike on the TMB (Champex to Chatelard via Trient). When we booked accommodations, we opted to bypass Trient and stay in the next town over: Chatelard. Even though it's a bus ride from Trient, it's worth it. Out of all of our stays on the TMB, the owner was the friendliest and most helpful. She went out of her way to ensure our stay was terrific. The bus times changed the week we were there, and there was confusion about the time, so she drove our group to the trailhead to start our next hike. Book this place if you want a clean, affordable stay with delicious food and a wonderful host.
The breakfast at the pernollet hotel was amazing! There was a plentiful beautiful spread on our own table when we came for breakfast. The room and the bathroom was very nice. The staff there are so hospitable and great. It is a Wonderful place to stay.
