My room was good-sized, a nice change from the many single ones that I have had on my trip. It was quite modern and comfortable. The hotel's location was good for enjoying the lovely town of Bellinzona, although it was perhaps a few minutes walk longer for walking to the train station. Entry to the hotel was a bit confusing as you must take the elevator, and the hotel reception is not marked as such. It is the restaurant terrace. The hotel clerk was helpful although we had to conduct our business in French. He arranged an early breakfast and a taxi to the station.

Excellent location for a stop over when driving from Lake Como into Switzerland. Basic but clean, staff excellent and the services next doors is spot on. Rooms are basic but for a 1 night stop over it’s fine.

Extremely easy to locate the hotel right after exit from the train station
Hotel Unione is located in the centre of Bellinzona, 10 metres from the historic pedestrian zone and 300 metres from the train station. The garden overlooks Bellinzona’s 3 UNESCO-listed castles.

We paid for a balcony room and the view of all three castles was spectacular.
The Hotel Cereda is located in Sementina between Bellinzona and the A2 highway to Lugano and the Gotthard tunnel, 15 km from Lake Maggiore. A bus stop is located right opposite the hotel.
The Fattoria l'Amorosa farm is situated on a vast terrace between Sementina and Gudo, surrounded by its own vineyards, olive groves, pastures with Galloway and Angus cattle and forests.
We decided to stay here longer than one night because of nice hotel. Not a trending place It's a perfect mix between Swiss and Italian. The wines are delicious. There are vineyards too. I love this town, nice hotel, nice food and good service. So calm also have restaurant and bar 🍻🍾 I would love to recommend this place!!!
