We could have a late check-in without hassle with a key box outside the hotel, and could even park the car in a secure place. The staff was proactive and professional. A person was causing trouble outside the hotel, banging the door and shouting from 23:00 to 0:45 (while the reception was closed), keeping everyone awake. The staff sent someone as soon as they were made aware of the issue, and we even got compensated for our troubles without asking (free parking).

The location is perfect. The hotel is historic. The staff were friendly and the room met all our needs. The room was not very big but it had everything: marble bathroom, lovely toiletries, mini refrigerator , coffee maker, safe, etc. . The hotel has two wonderful restaurants with great food.

I read other reviews. Some people are saying they had to pay for the shuttle bus. I had a rented car which I returned to the airport the evening before I left Zurich. I was able to take the shuttle back to the hotel for free. I had an appointment to return to the airport in the morning for my flight, owhich was also free and easy. Rumlang is reasonably close to both, the airport and the Hauptbahnhof - the main railway station. It scores on this the most. However, it does not have many eating-out spots, and it is best advised to go to the main railway station and then eat out there.

A tidy town that has nothing open after lunch on Saturday until Monday. And, that’s right, we were there on Sunday. We therefore enjoyed MacDonalds and Subway. Very disappointed that there was nothing Swiss to have.

Convenient to the airport and 2 good italian restaurants within walking distance of the hotels prior to departure or evening meal. Also has Maccas and a few other fast food outlets close by plus Aldi for a few departure beers, chips, nuts and purchase of forgotten travel items. Most hotels are Very close to the station of Rumlang for trips to the city of Zurich and great place to be for catching a train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof for connections to the train network of Switzerland .

One of the first things that struck me about Rümlang was its idyllic setting. Surrounded by rolling hills, lush green meadows, and beautiful forests, the town is a haven for nature lovers. The sound insulation was very good, I could see the airplanes at Zürich airport, but didn't hear them and slept very well. I had a room on the airport side and thus was overlooking the green belt and the Glatt river which was very nice, with the airport as a backdrop. This time, I do not have to give a bad review of the staff, because none of those people were present. Selection of bread, yogurt, pastries etc. and the best part: all including in the price. Its very convenient to have breakfast before going out. Just like home. Also, there are 24 hours complementary drinks (Coffee, tea, water) and some snacks. Super!

The 2nd room had dirty sheets and hair all over the pillows. The 3rd room the gave me had 2 beds and one was clean enough to sleep. The 2nd one had bodily fluids on the head board. The breakfast was horrible. The shuttle is only free on the way there. You will pay 11 to get back. Stay at B B hotel or Radison. Never again!
