The location was okay. Right in front of the train-station where we arrived. Some shops and restaurants nearby. The lake is beautiful. The bed was okay, comforter not very warm.

The owner is super helpful if you need any advice. I’d rather stay here than anywhere is the city but you will need a car to get to the best local restaurants and beer gardens. Better off using the train to get back and forth to Munich, car traffic there is slow.

We liked it a lot. The hotel is nice.
We liked it a lot. The hotel is nice. The restaurant is good. It serves typical Bavarian food but there are also other options and has playground. The room was clean. It has parking and there are a lot of walking activities possible in the area.
They added a cod for out 3,5 years old daughter as requested, but I'm not sure whether they have family rooms suitable for older kids.

The dinner experience was a not very good, but how it was...
The dinner experience was a not very good, but how it was handled by management was unacceptable.
Corona regulations amongst others not adhered to.
I asked if I could speak to a responsible person from management the next morning and got a call in the room at 20:00. Was called a liar and explained that I would have to wait till 10 AM before some one from management would be in the hotel, I requested 09:30 but this was not an option

Location lovely. Beautiful scenery and hotel staff were friendly and efficient.
Enjoyed meals at hotel also. Breakfast was included and was delicious.
A car is necessary to get around but good train service into Munich as it rained every day I was there, but fortunately have friends who live in Lake Starnberg.

They had lost the booking - they could see the confirmed booking when i showed them but they did not have it and they said it had happened before - even though they had replied to a message i had sent them, so it doesn't make sense. So they found one room for my colleague, meanwhile i had to travel half an hour away and find another hotel at 11pm at night - not impressed. They haven't even written to me to explain.
You exceeded expectations, the price is amazing for the hotel, the amenities are excellent, the location is amazing the food is great, the town is great, the Bartender was a little gruff, might of just had a bad day but everyone else was great. The room was like a 5-star hotel for a 3-star price. The breakfast was also great although we didn't know about the assigned seating.
Room had an amazing view of the lake. Breakfast was quite good. The hotel is a bit out of the way but if you have a car, it is no problem. You could also do a nice bike ride by the lake to Steinberg or even take a small passenger ship that goes from the stop only feet away from the hotel. Steinberg has an RE train and S-Bahn going to Munich.
So beautiful beachhotel with great location. You can see the sunset on the lake. The receptionists were superfriendly. The hotelrestaurant is obviously very popular so I recommend table reservation. It's worth for it; food was amazing, a bit pricey but really good.
Tip: book a room with terrace with lake view, it's priceless.
everything-huge room, huge bathroom, net on the window so we could open the windows for some cool breeze without having to worry about flies coming inn. the staff was so nice. we left the hotel very early in the morning and the cook made for us an amazing lunchbox (breakfast box)
I stayed for 6 nights. The breakfast was really good and delicious. I don't speak German, but the communication wasn't a problem at all, the staff mostly speaks English. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

The location was fantastic, beautiful view, 1 minute walk down to the lake.. Breakfast was delicious with good quality local produce. Clean and comfy bed. We had a nice stay at the hotel.
The staff was exceptional, location beautiful. The property has so much charm and the breakfast is the best breakfast I have experienced in a hotel for a long time. Perfect
Location is amazing, beds are very comfortable, rooms and balconies are spacious and bright. All the hotel staff were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was great too.
The hotel was on the side of a lake and you could go swimming, breakfast was okay but nothing stood out, the room was okay and the beds quite comfortable.
