My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay.
We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem in the summer is lovely and vibrant with plenty to do and see.
We went for the Christmas market and found it very quiet and the market itself was very small. The town is a lot quieter in the winter months.

Cochem is a great place to visit.
Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. Take the bus up to castle because walking up hills is not worth the few Euros it costs for the bus. Great food choices.

All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional.
Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here.
Seemed to have a # of stores for tourist items but not much else.Lots of cyclists

Definitely worth a visit, castle and a boat trip recommended. But beware of some....not so nice places to eat near waterfront, recommend to read the reviews, since some food is more like fastfood and not really traditional, borderline of nasty.
Positively surprised by the level of the hotel compared to its rating. We got a double room at second floor with the river view and lovely balcony. Opened the balcony and holiday atmosphere filled the room - music from ships, people walking… The room is small but enough place for double bed, couple of chairs, table, wardrobe. Bathroom with shower- everything works properly, nothing broken. Furniture is an old fashion style matching the area spirit. Clean room, comfortable bed, welcoming staff.
The location is excellent overlooking the river and castle. It gets the sun for most of the day and especially in the evening when the town of Cochem is in the shade. When the restaurant is open I have always found the meals to be exceptional.
As you will see below, staff shortages due to Covid 19 did affect our stay, but I love staying at this hotel and will continue to use it on my travels in the future and would continue to recommend it.
The location of the Hotel Osteria Del Vino in Cochem was excellent. Close enough to the train station and close to the center of town but slightly up the street so it was quiet. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I felt a bit like I was staying in the house of a friend. It was cozy and at the same time I had a nicely decorated large room. The bathroom was very upgraded and clean. The breakfast was fantastic!!
This place is fabulous! The flat itself is fantastic with very comfortable living spaces and an awesome view of the castle from a terrace. It has all of the modern conveniences one can think of and then some. It truly is a hidden gem! The owner is also very friendly and offers excellent suggestions of things to do and of wonderful places to eat at. If visiting Cochem again, this would be my top choice if it was available.
Loved this property! Excellent included breakfast with table overlooking the castle. We had bought champagne at a local wine tasting - hotel lets you access the breakfast room at night. We celebrated our sons proposal to fiancée that night with their glasses and our champagne. (They do have a fridge full of wines we could have purchased from them). Rooms were comfy enough. Bathrooms a bit tired but very clean.
We had a wonderful stay here with great views of Cochem Castle from the balcony 24/7. The hotel is in 10-15 minutes walk to the nearest restaurants, shops, supermarket, river cruise, etc. The hotel has parking on site (in the back). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and other amenities were good as advertised here. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend, thank you.
Collection of keys was very straightforward and fuss free. Very cute house. The kitchen was well stocked and the house has everything we needed. Bedrooms are on the second floor. Owners were very friendly and kind (I do not speak German, but nothing Google Translate couldn’t fix!). Just 3 mins drive into Cochem town. Loved our stay here!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast room looks over the castle and the selection for breakfast is fantastic.
They have a room to put your bike into.
It is only a 10 min walk from downtown Cochem and it is a besutiful town on the Mosel where you can travel by boat or train. Lovely walking and cycling routes nearby
I always stay here when coming to Cochem and recommend it to plenty of friends who do the same.
Decent location, easy 5-10 minute river walk to town. River Mosel literally across the road. Parking in front of the hotel.
Good restaurant, good breakfast and clean good size rooms. Staff friendly and efficient.
A pretty hotel along the riverfront in the centre of Cochem. Excursion boats are right outside the door. Breakfast was good but the items in the chafing dishes needed to be kept hotter. we had an evening meal on the terrace restaurant which was really good despite a very limited choice. Staff were all helpful
The room was big and everything was so clean. The breakfast had many choices and was delicious. I liked the location of the hotel and enjoyed the short walk across the bridge into town. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the lovely town of Cochem.
Very friendly, really clean and nice rooms. The breakfast was excellent. All in all one of the best hotels in Cochem. We highly recommend it. 😁It's only a 10 minute walk from the centrum of cochem. It has a beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony.
Beautiful family apartment right in the middle of Cochem! Everything was just as advertised, and Christina was a wonderful and kind host who met us for check-in. Her recommendations for food and things to see were great as well. Definitely recommended!
It was spacious. If you wanted to cook, you can. Nice view of the Cochem castle once you get out of the building. Some apartments have good view from the room itself.
