The hotel is great and the staff is very nice.
The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. Always available to help and asking if everything is ok. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and the breakfast is very good, with a lot of variety to choose from. The location is perfect to rest and get away from the city. Amazing hotel.
Amazing hotel. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and the decoration is simple awesome. Staff is very kind. We were very surprised by the quality of the hotel. Certainly a nice place to stay. We regretted not staying longer.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped with lots of electrical outlets and space for belongings. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat. Free covered parking right outside the door. The proprietor and his wife were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. Price was very reasonable. Don’t hesitate reserving here, you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Stayed in the family room which was spacious and well thought out. The owners were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Dobel is small with few options for eating but the next town ( min drive) has numerous restaurants/ bars / shops. Our favourite hotel of our trip just a shame we only stayed one night!

Very friendly staff, large and well equiped rooms, and very clean. Breakfast in corona times was plentiful and well organised. As we are traveling with 2 Golden Retrievers, it is not always easy to find a place where we feel at ease. But this was a great match. The green surroundings and close proximity to the woods are a definite asset.

All kinds of pleasantries and appliances were available to make our stay comfortable. Dobel sits directly on top of several hiking paths and we really enjoyed the blue one to Wildseemoor, as it was small, mostly wild and quiet, without people.
