The transformation of Hurghada from quiet fishing village to the premier tourist destination in Egypt is complete. If you are looking for a beachside holiday in a first-class hotel or resort, then Hurghada has some of the best in Egypt, along with a lively nightlife scene and diverse shopping.
Bargain for a souvenir in old town El Dahar with its more traditional bazaars, and the city centre of Sekalla has many top class hotels. Marine Boulevard is lined with restaurants and designer stores.
The popularity of outranking the Giza Pyramids, Valley of the Kings and Abu Simbel has impacted some of those precious coral reefs along the Red Sea Riviera coast. However, there are still great diving spots to be found. Try the nearby coast around the tourist resort town of El Gouna or the uninhabited Giftun Island is ideal for snorkelling with its coral gardens. The eastern portion of the Sahara Desert with its Red Sea Mountains and nomadic Bedouin tribes can be explored from Hurghada on camels.

The people on the streets are intrusive, confrontational, and just won't leave you alone. Considering that (according to Wikipedia) there are more tourists than residents in Hurghada, it is extremely surprising how unfriendly the locals are outside the hotel complexes and the marina. Hurghada is a terrible place, and everyone is just focused on taking your money and scamming you. Even the nice pharmacist charges different prices. Never again. Or if I want to scuba dive again in the Red Sea (which really is beautiful), then I go straight from the airport to the diving ship and after the cruise is over straight back to the airport. There is absolutely no reason to see Hurghada or to spend money there.

Nice place, felt a bit like a city-sized resort.
Nice place, felt a bit like a city-sized resort. Good prices, but be ready to haggle a lot (prices for foreigners start at the 10 times or more the "local" price). People are friendly (sometimes too much) and are trying to get tips and scam you with the prices at every step - so, buyer be ware, and haggle always. Incredible sea, with the most amazing blue colors! Great food - really recommend eating at Gad restaurant and visiting the Marina.

We loved Hurghada, the people, food and environment were wonderful. It’s very family oriented, We wish we had more time to attend more activities, we packed as much as we could😁
All the taxi drivers were supportive and welcoming as well as their wider community.
The difference between Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada is more daytime activities and wind down in the evenings, Sharm El Sheikh it’s more night life. I seem to be more tired than their children at 2am they are still playing and full of energy 😁

It is worth to try the local "Uber", which is called inDrive app.
Using this app wan can move much more freely within the city.
ONe can set the target (like the must see places, and the app will show the suggested fare, distane, and drivers start to offer their ride.
You can accept any of them. Cheapest may not be the best selection,
because in Egypt most if the inDrive cars are not in their best shape.

Hurghada is one of the few cities that have so much activites to offer with amazing price , nice weather , beaches , sea trips , islands , safari , diving , amazing cafes and resturants specially sea food , easy in transportation , so clean and finally so safe 😊❤️
Most of the staff was not really friendly. One of them was very helpful though, however not enough to make up for the others.
The rooms were not clean, bed sheets very old and scratchy. Floor sticky, bathroom deprecated. Mold on the wall. And much more.
Booked 4 rooms because we were a group and the story is the same for each room.
Buffet is highly limited for a 5 stars hotel. This one deserves a 3 maximum. And didn't like the fact that all inclusive doesn't include alcohol and that information is highly difficult to find.
Our first time in titanic palace hotel we try one night to check the hotel facilities then we decide to continue with new booking , hotel amazing, pools very beautiful, staff friendly, restaurant tasty and there's a lot of chioes, 2 main restaurant and 5 ala cart restaurant which means variety, finally I would like to thank reception staff puala and Ahmed yazeed helpful and smelling and they give us special care from the check in and keep looking after us ,
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They treated me to a lovely cake and sang happy birthday to me.
There was fresh fruit in my room and when I'd come.bavk to the room after a day out, I would receive a friendly call from reception to make sure everything was OK.
The hotel is in a great location and accessible to the main strip in Hurghada.
I had a lovely time as a solo traveller and would highly recommend this hotel.
Liked the food - I'm vegetarian and there was plenty of choice and the food was delicious. The view from the restaurant at breakfast and lunch was beautiful as was the whole resort. No problem getting a comfortable sunbed and plenty of shade. Enjoyed the snorkelling in the sea. The beauty treatments I had were excellent and good value. Liked the fact that the cats around the hotel were well fed and looked after.
We stayed in a clean, spacious apartment in this aparthotel. The apartment features a balcony and kitchen and is perfect for a couple or small family. Special thanks to the hotel management, especially manager Maged Zedan, for their professional approach and exceptional customer service. Hotel guests are provided with all practical information to ensure positive experience in Hurghada. Highly recommended.
My 3rd visit to Grand Resort. Great value for money hotel that you will not find anywhere else in Hurghada. Amazing service in reception , we arrived very early in the morning and despite that , we still was able to check in without extra charges. The same we had free of charge check out which is make your stay more more pleasant.
So yes , I am looking to book it again.
1. Rooms are too poor for a 5 star hotel, tried two rooms.
2.Animation team is very good but they make too much noise everywhere at the beach nonstop!
Staff are obviously overwhelmed by no. of guests.
3. Good coffee is only available at open buffet or with extra charge.
4. Beach floor is very bad not natural sand.
5. Gym is very poor.
Well managed hotel with great facilities and beautiful outdoor areas.
The food is good and with great variety.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxed stay.
Great location and very easy to get to Hurghada city centre by taxi/ uber.
One of the best hotels in Hurghada, with a good breakfast (also dinner), with different dishes.
Private beach and piscine in hotel with a magnificient view on red sea
The staff was so great and helpful
A good experience in hotel
1- hotel location is the best in hurghada and the view magical, clean pools and beach.
2- Hotel service is above expectations.
3- 10 stars costumers service.
4- 10 stars friendly staff.
5- will definitely comeback again.
All is perfect amazing hotel staff and rooms are so clean I would say this is best hotel in hurghada. 100/10 hossain is the big boss done everything for us. Will be back soon.
There are a few good things about this place like friendly staff and cleanliness, however this hotel lies to your face on Booking.com and the services are no way near 5 STAR.
