It was nice to have a ground floor room, the staff were very friendly and polite and the whole hotel was very clean.

The cycle ride to the hotel was unbelievably beautiful. We rode alongside the Ebro river, through tunnels cut out of rock, and reached the dam where the hotel was located. The scenery was just breathtaking. The hotel has seen better days but we enjoyed our stay and the proprietor was very nice. Had the weather been better we would have enjoyed sitting outside by the water's edge.

We chose this hotel at the last minute during our drive to Madrid, we found the description appealing and thought it would be a ncice stop. We were not disappointed! The hotel itself was lovely, with lots of common areas for relaxing, there was also a lot to see in the area, which was clearly explained by our host. We enjoyed both the dinner and the breakfast which were a great example of local produce.
