Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy.
Mahon is an easy going city. It is small and not too noisy. There is plenty to do and see. You can cover most areas on foot and there is a good bus service to other parts of Menorca. The harbour area is attractive with boat trips which are a great way to see the city and get an idea of its' history. It is also a very pleasant area to walk and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars both in the harbour area and in the centre of town. Menorca has lovely beaches and because it is a relatively small island it is easy enough to reach anywhere from Mahon

Mahon is an interesting town with a large harbour and many individual shops. There is a wide range of cafes and restaurants. The streets are clean and the main town centre is pedestrianised so is very easy to get around.

A good base to discover the rest of the island, I think that buses can get you to a fare number of places but as frequent visitors we invariably have a car waiting at the airport. Mahon is full of character, steeped in history. Boat trips available round the huge harbour.

Mahon port is a must, lovely to walk around and there are 2 lifts to take you from the port to the old town.
We love art galleries and museums and met some wonderful people.
Not a place for children really, Better for children on the west side of the Island.
Some really good restaurants Tap Can, La Opera and especially Perla!
The hotel in a superb central locaton. Bus station, where you can catch the air-conditioned coaches to most resorts on the island, is a two minute walk. The staff welcoming & extremely helpful. The hotel communal area is spotless, as are the rooms which are cleaned & towels changed daily.
Supply of water in the room fridge which is refillable is refreshing after a day in the heat of Mahon, and the complimentary snacks served daily from 2pm - 1am in the lounge were a real treat too.
Hotel Hevresac is fantastic, far above our expectations and really made our stay in Menorca the more enjoyable as a result. Ignasi & Co were very attentive and provided some great info on places to see and eat. The attention to detail makes the hotel feel like a home from home and having a kitchen was helpful. The breakfast was great as was having a proper coffee machine. Would highly recommend!
I loved staying here. The place has a very homey feeling and has a wonderful pool for guests. The staff was great and as a Spanish speaker, I could chat quite a bit and learn more about life in Menorca on a more human level. We also got great local recommendations (including the best tapas bar we found on the island, es Casino in San Climent).
The hotel is in a fantastic old building which retains much of its old charm. Our room was large and had its own little terrace. Staff went out of their way to welcome us and to provide whatever we wanted. The breakfasts were really excellent (if very generous!) and made great use of delicious Menorcan products.
The Hotel decor was beautiful and tasteful everything was so thought out. So many lovely touches around and in the rooms. It is a great location in the centre of Mahon. The staff were so accommodating, friendly and attentive.
The hotel restaurant was superb, probably one of the best restaurants in Mahon.
Stayed at the Hostal La Isla twice in one week. At the beginning and at the end of the week. Whilst cycling around Menorca in between.
Both stays were excellent, the staff were very friendly and the accommodation was very clean and tidy. Would recommend this Hostal, very good value for money !
We were only there one night on a last minute booking, as our boat wasn’t quite ready for use.
Really lovely hotel. Looked newly refurbished with quality fittings and decoration.
Excellent food in the restaurant with great views over Mahon harbour.
Nice pool area with comfortable sun beds.
We spent one night at the hotel and so didn’t have time to enjoy it as much as we should have. The location is perfect for a stay in Mahon. The rooms are very nicely decorated and the staff was incredibly friendly! An extra Bonus was the delicious smelling shampoo and shower gel….so nice!
excellent boutique hotel in the center of Mahon. courtyard is very beautiful, great to sit by the pool and have drinks. staff was very warm and friendly, made me feel at home. room was very spacious, bed comfortable, including the bathroom.
Pleasant staff. Pool area and pool were exceptional. Location of property was good for local amenities and distance for Mahon port and sights. Main bus station about a 15 minute walk, buses there to connect to all parts of the island
The location was great. The pre arrival information was really helpful. Ignasi was an amazing host and treated us more like new friends than guests. A special person, with amazing knowledge and passion about menorca.
We had the best time at Malbuger Nou! Wonderful accommodation and the most helpful and friendly staff. Nice and quiet agroturismo just outside of Mahón. Highly recommend this place for your visit to Menorca/the city.
Our room had a wonderful view of the city of Mao over the river. A 10 minute drive and your in the city. The pools were clean and the restaurant does a great breakfast buffet. Lastly they had the best kittens!
the hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of staff, customer service and ammenities. the personal care and Professionalism of the staff did not go unnoticed. I will return to Menorca and rebook my stay here.
Our second stay. Hotel looked after our bags while we walked the Cami da Cavalls. Great, friendly staff and nice bar with reasonable prices Quiet area no car noise. My first choice when in Mahon.
Literally everything was superb: the beautiful hotel itself, the location near the best part of Mahon, and the attention we got from Jordi and the rest of the staff. Wonderful!
Everything was very good. Very helpfull was a personal of hotel, they can advice you a lot of useful informations about Mahón and trips in the surroundings.
