I had travelled 8 hours to stay at this hotel and was politely told that the restaurant was not open to guests that evening. I said that I would never have stayed here had I known this and they said that they had emailed me. I took out my phone and their email had been sent 20mins before my arrival. I had to drive into town to eat and after 8hrs of driving that day the additional journey was unwelcome. I paid full price for this partial service. I had stayed here on 5 previous occasions and it had been a very good choice.

The hotel was used as a over night stop whilst travelling down through France. I wanted a safe, nice & comfortable stop over. This ticked all the boxes for me as I didn’t fancy stopping at a road side style motel. I just don’t feel safe at those places and they are often not as clean as you might have hoped for. This place was perfect and the staff we’re helpful in English as my French language is not very good. Would use again if in the area. Forgot to say, stunning views of the golf course from the breakfast room.
I eventually found a place, a Car park full. I had to park far away. To finally got checked in thought it was a four-star hotel but it was more like a budget of one. Just got dinner served. The room was a designer's wet dream looked like the floor layer had run out of planks and the carpet layer matched up to it
We were still served although we arrived late (21.15) but the hotel was so kind to allow us to order dinner still. As the dinner turned out not so great, they removed it from the bill. The rooms were fit for purpose but bare minimum.
