This was the most beautiful B&B on our trip. From the 13th century this dwelling and the surrounding buildings fascinated us.
Our room was spacious and beautifully furnished, and featured a large bathroom as well.
The petit dejeuner the hosts served was delicious. We had a pot of cafe, homemade yogurt, and delectable pastries accompanied by their own honey and preserves.
A recently renovated bed and breakfast in Bourbon-lʼArchambault, Chateau du Grand Lucay offers outdoor fireplace, private parking, and sports facilities. Beauty services is available for guests.

The place is great, a paradise of pastoral tranquility and of serenity, I am sure it would be difficult to find anything better, unless one travels to a remote island. Well, if you like people, movement and action, this is not the place for you, otherwise it is simply ideal for relaxing and leaving your problems behind!
I have spent many holidays in France in similar B&B places, but the owners of Grand Lucay far surpass any I have seen before. Extremely kind and friendly as one rarely, very rarely finds. Thank you!
