Needed somewhere to stay off the evening ferry from Portsmouth to Caen. Ferry delayed so didn't arrive at hotel till midnight. Phoned staff and they arranged room entry. Motel style with rooms opening straight onto carpark. Condition of room good but quite small. Very clean. Very good breakfast with wide selection of hot and cold. Safe overnight parking. Would stay again and recommend. Wifi OK.

The location is very good, in a quiet area close to shopping and all the points of interest. The room very clean and the staff very friendly and knowledgeable regarding tourist attractions in the area. They do not have parking at the hotel, but the underground public parking is nearby and spacious.

An uncomfortable room at back of hotel.
An uncomfortable room at back of hotel. Room was too hot air conditioning didn’t work and made clunking noises all night long. Positioning of beds meant when you moved in the night the pillows pushed the light switch on, obviously waking us up each time.

A very strange town architecturally. Appears to have been a 1960's experiment or competition for alternative designs which have not blended or aged very well in time. Many now vacant and an eyesore. Our children loved their room and bunk beds, and we enjoyed being able to have some time and space to ourselves in our room. Great location for us to use as a base to access different nearby areas - such as Honfleur, Deauville, and Ouistreham. Very handy to have a carpark at the hotel, with direct access to the building.
