Absolutely ideal for a one-night stop on the way travelling south to the Dordogne on the motorway. Very friendly, helpful staff and a plentiful straightforward evening meal in the restaurant. The room was a bit basic but clean and ideal for what we wanted. Easy parking in the hotel carpark. Very quick access from the motorway but a nice quiet room.

This was an 'overnight' stop on a fund-raising relay run from Kent to Paris. Six work colleagues were able to get some staggered rest in a lovely setting. Host was very helpful in meeting our strange needs - last guests arriving at 2am; first guests leaving at 5am - and although we were unable to enjoy the full breakfast experience, we ere provided with pains au chocolat to give us a boost for the 125km run to Paris. Great location but sadly no time to enjoy it!
