The reception staff were exceptional, friendly, informative and ready to help. One in particular, (although I didn't get his name), checked us in and was readily available for any other help we needed the rest of the stay. I would reccommend the venue based on his service alone

The drains in the toilet smelt really bad.
The drains in the toilet smelt really bad. I complained to the receptionist and instead of changing my room, she attempted to clean the drains with chemicals to remove the smell. Well it only lasted for ten minutes. The toilet seat had the previous occupant's hair and despite the fact that I signified to the cleaning crew to clean my room (by putting my card outside my room), my room especially the smelly toilet was not cleaned. Buses are available every 30 minutes and after 9.30pm the hotel location becomes accessible only by cab or walking almost a mile from the nearest bus station.

Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris.
Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris. You can't get there in a day. And never ever leave your luggage at the CDG Left Luggage. Never ever fly Air France where seats are too small for children.

Roissy-en-France isn't a tourist destination so a review of it is silly. Caveat - I was on foot and spent only a couple of hours walking around so probably there is more to the town than I saw. It was probably once a charming small town that has been commandeered by CDG airport. Now it seems to be just cheap airport hotels and light industrial businesses catering to the ailines. I found very few places to eat and almost none to buy groceries. You can walk a mile along a busy freeway to the truly dreadful Aeroville shopping center which is a crowded consumerist nightmare with high prices and a lot of stupid cookie-cutter, characterless stores selling overpriced crap. There is one grocery store there - Aucan, with very high prices compared to almost anywhere in France. There seems to be a nice park to walk in in Roissy but it was too cold to do so when I was there. In short I feel sorry for this little town which had the bad luck to have a giant airport move in next door.

Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I...
Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I plan to Europe as because of the facilitates the airport has. From the airport you can take Metro to the city center or to the hotel where you booked to stay (I usually book my accommodation through www.booking.com). If you are willing to stay for few days or week(s), just purchase a navigo card that you can purchase before you get on the Metro at CDG airport and the Customer Service is willing to speak English too compare if you buy in the city, mostly they refuse to provide service if you speak in English. And if you buy a single trip in the city, you could ended up standing long in the queue. Take any Metro or city map to check where to go and what to visit while in the country. Circle/mark it where you stay so it is easier for your to get back to you hotel. If you choose accommodation, make sure it is closer to the public transportations/Metro. If you are from Asia and cannot away from Asian foods, make sure to search Asian restaurant in the first days so you can mixed your food planning between Asian and European foods. Avoid any crowd and make sure to keep safe any of your valuable items. And enjoy every moments you are there even though it is during the winter or summer time. And thank you to Emirates/EK crews who always provide their best services during my flights.

The hotel itself was fine, but they close their restaurant for dinner on weekends which is a huge problem and disappointed. Because we booked through a travel site (Booking.com) we went by their information which did not indicate the lack of dinner options. For us the major complaint is with Booking.com for not providing accurate information. If you just want/need a bed, then perhaps this hotel would be fine, but we needed a decent meal after a day of travel and an early morning flight the next day.

IBIS styles CDG is located metres from a Charles de Gaulle terminal 3 entrance. From there, one can reach the other terminals quickly via the free CDGVAL automatic tram. The rooms are small but very comfortable and a very good breakfast is included. The hotel staff is helpful and approachable, as well. If your flight departs early, you definitely should consider spending a night there, as getting to the airport from central Paris takes time and can be tricky.
Staff were all very polite & helpful. Rooms were very quiet & clean. Loved the large comfortable beds. The suite was spacious with interesting view of airport. Very close to CDGVal Shuttle (tram) running between airport Terminal 1 & 2 & airport hotels (however this shuttle is extremely hard to find from airport side). Breakfast was a large variety and tasty. Now that I understand the shuttle between airport, I'll be using this hotel again.
I had a 20 hour layover in Paris on a Sunday night, too late to go into central Paris. Instead of one of the "chain" hotels one usually finds near an airport, I found this lovely B and B nearby. Roissy is a charming, authentically French village next to the airport. I had dinner in a local bistro that evening and a pleasant walk around town early the next morning, before heading back to the airport for my onward flight. Great decision!
If you are travelling through Paris-CDG and need a hotel for your layover this is a great option. It is very close to the airport and you can use the CDGVAL to get to and from the hotel and airport. No need for a taxi! The hotel is in a littel complex of hotels and there was a decent restaurant across the road and the Moxi had great places to sit and relax. I also appreciated that it is quiet given the proximity to the airport.
There is bus from and to CDG airport that stops outside the hotel and can take about 12 to 20 minutes. The timetable for this bus is at the bus stop - the timetable the hotel provides at reception is innaccurate and one would end up missing the buses and using the hotel shuttle. Big bed with a bunker at top. Good breakfast if you pay for it. The hotel has packed cold and expensive food options which they can reheat.
Very nice budget hotel within 15 minute drive from the airport. The staff were all nice and helpful. We were impressed by the quality of food served for dinner which was excellent and reasonable price. They also have a bar with beer, wine and mixed drink choices. A shuttle is offered to the airport for $5 euro per person. I would stay again if ever flying out of CDG in the future.
Hotel has an excellent location, just 2 min by walk to the airport. Great for early flights. I believe I saw two restaurants at this property so if you are hungry you can have a meal at the hotel instead coming back to Paris or wandering around. There is a store at the terminal as well but unfortunately closes around 9pm.
As far as we're concerned, this is the only place we'd stay if we were flying out of Charles De Gaulle Airport. The location is 5 minutes from the airport, the hotel is wonderful and clean, and the town of Roissy is a nice place to stay before heading home. Many good restaurants within walking distance.
Nice hotel, close to the airport and free shuttle to the subway (RER) to Paris city. Comfortable room on 8th floor, with view on airport. No sound from airplanes. Staff is very friendly. Parking garage under the hotel for 25 euro per night. Nice working spaces in the lobby of the hotel. Nice bar too.
The main attraction was the price compared to the cost of hotels on the Charles de Gaulle Airport site, The hotel was 5 km from the airport, but there is a regular shuttle to the sirport, cost 4 euros. despite being under the flight path, there was no aircraft noise in the hotel.
I've stayed only 1 night and chose this hotel for being close to the Charles de Gaulle airport. Patricia at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The room was quite confortable and clean and had a nice breakfast. I would reccomend staying here.
Roissy is a quiet, small town, with very few places to eat. Hotel location is convenient to access the main street of Roissy, but it is not just by the airport. If one wants to have a quiet place to rest after a long flight it is a good place to stay.
Love the concept of this hotel. As an airport property, the self check-in and small room work well. Bed was very comfortable. Although the restaurant food was likely reheated fare, it was surprisingly good and affordable for a CDG hotel.
Check in was easy, the staff helpful and welcoming. My room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was the best I've ever seen! The hotel was ideally located and it was so easy to use the free shuttle to CDG airport.
Love this hotel. Price is very competitive considering it’s at Charles De Gaulle airport. Always fast check in and staff really welcoming. Super comfy beds. Good food. Transport links really convenient.
Perfect hotel for a stayover before a flight. Very close to the RER B, 5 mn walk - 10mn ride to Charles De Gaulle Airport - You have a shower and a toilet inside your room and a TV.
The prestige of being in a Hilton brand. The hotel is adjacent to CDG airport. Hotel amenities and the breakfast that we always look forward to. Hotel comfort and security.
Great hotel close to Paris airport and easy to get to. It is surrounded by 3 other hotels and I think this one was best value for money. Quickly inside and great for kids
