A cute and calming property ideal for couples, solo travellers, or families if you are looking for tranquility and beautiful natural surroundings.
On the property, you will find animals such as goats, sheep, donkeys, and even a hog that are easy and fun to interact with.
There is a large pool and deck open to guests. Very clean, and the pool is heated! A volleyball court, boules court and quaint paths to stroll through.
We were six days in a very clean cabin. The bathroom, kitchen (fully stocked with cutlery and utensils), and a small living room, which included a working fireplace with free wood, made up the ground floor. Upstairs were two bedrooms.
The property is 2km from a fuel station and a large and very clean supermarket. Both are within 100 meters of one another. Four km away is a midsized town (Lisieux), which has an impressive basilica. Overall, it is an ideal location within reasonable distances to many sites and towns in Normandy.
We thank our host for his gracious hospitality, who made us feel at home immediately on arrival.

Adrienne is a very warm and engaging hostess. The breakfast is prepared with great care including homemade jams and local honey etc. The eggs are also “homemade” (her cute joke) by Her chickens. The breads and croissants are fresh from the bakery.
She was very kind to wait for us to drive all the way from CDG and having difficulty finding the property at night (firstly, going to the wrong town from the listing, then the hidden driveway to the farm).
The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. A seating area with table, kettle, fridge, both bedrooms and bathroom were up a wide spiral staircase.

This is such a wonderful place to stay. I encourage anyone considering it to book! The setting the hosts have created is truly magical and you get a real sense of the hosts' characters in the interior and exterior design.
We had dinner one night in the garden (see my photo), the hosts are happy for you to use the communal kitchen facilities.
The rooms/suites are large with a super king bed, a small sitting area and en suite bathroom. Each room has its own unique character, so if there are other rooms available, I'd recommend asking to check them out (and switch if preferred) as what the hosts have created is really special.
The hosts (a husband and wife) are incredibly friendly and accommodating and not at all intrusive.
Breakfast is excellent and the hosts most of the items (e.g. yoghurt, jam, bread).
We stayed here for 2 nights whilst cycling various loops of the cider route and it's a perfect location. If you're cycling here, it's mostly flat to/from Mezidon-Canon station, Lisieux has 1 big steep hill which is fine from Lixeux to the accommodation but I wouldn't want to do it the other way around.

The staff Kalpesh was very helpful and agreed with someone of our request. The room was very large and bathroom was new and spacious. The owner's relative Neeral was very helpful the next day and helped to keep our luggage in the lobby and use the washroom and also arranged for our transport to the station 🚉
