Could not be a better spot in the heart of Saint Emilion, and yet the well-maintained hotel grounds were spacious and beautiful, overlooking vineyards. It’s probably the only place around where you can actually park your car.
Every single staff member was lovely and capable.
We can’t say enough about this wonderful and historic place.

The value was excellent. One of our more affordable stays in France, yet the hotel and staff exceeded expectations. I really enjoyed their little lounge areas, the garden/courtyard, their breakfasts, and free laundry service.

The location to St. Emilion was a plus. The room was spacious. The setting amongst the vines was superb. And the hosts were very attentive and accommodating to all our needs.

Charming great location and Natasha and Jessica were wonderful hosts.

We went for a wine tour so St-Emilion is the best base for the right bank. Food and wine options are better value for the connoisseur than in Bordeaux. Dozens of wineries surround the town and the terrain is flat on the vineyards - not in the town itself which seems to sit on a slope.

Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far.
Saint-Emilion was the best stop on our trip thus far. We are staying in our 8th hotel right now & not one compares to the hospitality shown to us in st. Emilion. It is the most beautiful village. I will be back next year.

It is a beautiful town, with an interesting history. The food was excellent everywhere we ate. Take comfortable shoes as the cobblestones can be quite uneven at places. Take as many wine tastings as possible - the wine is soooo good. Don't miss out on the unique local macarons either. Do the historic tours and walks, it is all just so good for the soul.

The medieval town was compact, but not suitable for disabled visitors, as the streets were steep and there were many stairs. Roads were cobbled, so wheelchairs were difficult to navigate around. However, as our group were all able bodied it was not a problem for us.
As you would expect from a premier town, prices were fitting for the experience.
I would go again and stay in the town again, as day visitors did not have the luxury of the facilities behind the streets!
We ate in 3 restaurants, the best by far was Restaurant Le Tertre. Booking essential, I booked 3 months in advance to make sure we got a table!
We did the miniature train trip around the wineries in the location, excellent stop with wine tasting and celler visit.
It's a must visit town.

It's a magical city but be prepared to do some walking wearing flat shoes with non-slip soles due to the hilly and narrow roads being preserved as they were a gazillion years ago. There are many shops to peak the interests of many. Parking would be the most challenging event so keep the vehicle of choice the smaller the better.
The historic Catholic Church has 9AM services on Sunday's who welcome parishioners. Most businesses speak a fair amount of English if French is not your primary language. Credit cards are preferred.
The surrounding vineyards are immaculate and the streets are very clean and inviting!

Amazing restaurants book in advance if you wish a/c or one of the three Michelin star restaurants! Great walking around and inside the city. Entire city is beautiful. If you have spend a night or two.
Location is perfect right in the middle of Saint-Emilion. Steps from restaurants, patisseries, shops, grocery store, wineries. We’ve probably rented about 50 home shares in Europe and this was my favorite on location. The host, Sam, is also wonderful…accommodating on checkin/checkout…great tips for the area…left us some farm fresh eggs, wine, juice, water. Beds, bathrooms, and kitchen all large and very usable. Book it.
The Hotel is remote to St Emillion, but for us this wasnt a problem as we visited the town and dined in the Hotel and this is exactly what we wanted. It waa our wedding anniversary (28 years) we had a lovely surprise of rose petals, swan towels, chocolates, welcome from hotel manager letter. Beautiful luxury soaps and hand creme. Dinner and staff in restaurant next level. For sure this is equal to Michelin star dining
The location of the hotel is great - every part of the town of Saint-Émilion is at the grasp of your fingertips if you stay at this hotel. Additionally, when it comes to the room that I've stayed at - it's clean, spacious, and equipped with a comfy bed and a bathtub. The staff is friendly and speaks English, and all in all - I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay at in Saint-Émilion.
Peaceful setting, lovely and kind hosts. Jean-Francois and Laurent were quick to help with restaurant reservations in Saint-Emilion which
is a short and beautiful walk through the vineyards from the property. Evenings superb with their delicious charcuterie and quiche in the
restful gardens. Rooms large and beds comfortable with impeccable linens. This property and hosts are treasures.
gorgeous estate around 20 min walk through the vineyards to St Emilion. The room was beautifully furnished and spacious, well taken care of. Amazing garden to relax. Delicious home-made breakfast. But probably the best thing about it is hospitality. Rachel is incredibly attentive, warm and nice woman who really makes you feel like home.
Nice wine tour and tasting at the chateau as well
Sam was the best host we've experienced in France. So helpful and the house is stocked so well with lots of nespresso capsules, soap, shampoo etc. Beds are super comfy and the house itself is fabulous. You literally could not be more central. We will 100% return and thank Sam very much for his hospitality.. including rhe welcome macroons & red wine!
Location worked really well for us- spotlessly clean, friendly welcoming staff ,dog friendly, comfy bed & power shower. Departed after an excellent breakfast. This hotel doesn’t try to be something it isn’t - but if you seek value for money with excellent standards of cleanliness & dining on site then this hotel could be the perfect fit 👍🏻
Fabulous place to stay. Hotel has been beautifully renovated - it is spacious and very clean. Loved the little touches - like being able to have some fruit, coffee and pastries through the day. The staff were so helpful and friendly. - they even did our laundry. Wish we could have stayed longer.
the rooms are very spacey, clean of course, and the beds very exceptionally comfortable . the staff was friendly and helpful : the hostess made dinner recommendations and reservations for us, which is invaluable . there is convenient parking behind and hotel. the breakfast is very good.
Bathroom - exceptional. The amenities, view and ambience were out of this world
Location - we chose the hotel as it is close to the train, and a lovely walk into St Emilion. However, it is not directly in the village. We chose it for that reason as it was quiet.
Location is good, but the hotel does not seem very interested in its appartments. The equipment was a disappointment, in particular in comparaison with a "similar" appartment we had rented the night before close to the Futuroscope- which was so much better.
Excellent hotel. Location is right in the heart of the town. Swimming pool is superb. Staff super friendly, polite, hospitable and obliging. Danema at the front desk was great. So helpful and arranged our tuk-tuk transport for us with no problems.
This property is a beautiful gem in the heart of the village. Good restaurants nearby. Also has full kitchen, if you want it and the clothes washer was great.
Fanny, our host, was terrific. Would stay here again!
I loved everything about this hotel !! The room, the location and especially the staff!! I was so sad to leave ! I can’t wait until I go back ❤️
This is the absolute best hotel in saint emilion !!
Bfst not provided but hosts referred us to "Mie & Merlot" a bakery about 1 block away. Absolutely one of the best quality bakeries and very good value for breakfast or lunch.
Fantastic location, amazing facilities, excellent standards of hygiene. Room was very spacious and bed extra comfortable. A total beauty as a hotel, like a fairytale
