This property is absolutely amazing. We stayed in the Gothic room in the castle keep. It was wonderful - so full of history. We had a tour of the Chateau with Charles the owner. It was such a privilege to spend time in this wonderful piece of French history.

The host and owner Mark is a very welcoming and friendly person. The hotel is located good if you have something to do in the nearby area.
Chateau L'Orangerie is located a 10-minute drive from Saint-Loup-sur-Thouet. Free private parking is available on site. Each of the guest rooms has an ensuite bathroom with a shower and toilet.

The hosts Danielle and Jon were wonderful , it helped that they have English as one of their main languages. The heated pool was a bonus, extensive garden and terrace . Excellent storage for our bikes. Danielle and Jon cooked us an exceptional 3 course meal that we ate in the main dining Room. Jon was very helpful regarding our cycle tour of La Francette and even accompanied us out of the town leading the way back to the cycle path.

This cosy duplex in the very centre of Airvault is very comfortable. It was clearly oversized for me, but would be ideal for a small self-catering family.

Don’t be put off by the exterior (which looks like a self-storage unit!) - the facilities are great and the staff super friendly. We had truly amazing seafood pizzas (it was pizza night) and a tasty pichet de vin rouge as well as puddings for under €40. And great safe storage for our bikes and excellent breakfast. And it was ideally located for our bike trip towards La Rochelle
The history and beauty if the building. Our room was amazing and huge! it felt like a small apartment rather than a hotel room. The bathroom was baronial !
