We arrived there soaked wet because of a surprise storm, we were on bikes... They received us so gently, even though we looked bad... We could dry all our stuff, leave the bikes in a nice place, recover energy and have an amazingly good sleep (very good bed and heating). Thanks to how they received us, the next day we could continue our trip! By the way, we tried the restaurant and it was so good as well!

Location is great, just off the motorway and surrounded by shops and garages. Also a great choice of eateries nearby.

The restaurant is incredible. I wish we had booked it for both nights.
Villandry is a beautiful village with a wonderful chateau.
Villandry is a beautiful village with a wonderful chateau. We have visited here three times now in different seasons and the chateau - especially it's garden - is always magnificent. Each time we have eaten at the Cheval Rouge restaurant opposite the Chateau, which has great food and charming staff.

The Chateau was fabulous, the gardens, well, you can understand why they have 10 full-time gardeners. The grounds are more impressive than Chenonceau.
Inside the Chateau you are reminded of it's history, however you get the sense that this is a family home rather than a museum piece. Most impressed.

The Villandry chateau is wonderful and the gardens are exceptional. Allow plenty of time to see the chateau and gardens. We ate at our hotel - Haut Lys - which was superb and walking distance up the road. Villandry is very small but it does have a decent selection of cafes and restaurants.

The hotel is really close to Villandry castle. Nice staff and the price was really nice. Quiet at night - at least for the night I spent there. Really good breakfast in the morning. Nice bed. Free parking lot dedicated to the hotel just in front of it -even though you also have a free one nearby. A few shops nearby to have a snack or a little meal.
A great cottage peacefully set in a relaxing, private garden, just behind the chateau of Villandry. Very well-equipped, including for one or two young children. Just a short walk from bar/restaurants. Good access to quiet cycle routes. This is an outstanding property to have as a base for visiting this area.
very nice B&B, lots of indoor space and lovely garden. Close to town centre with some good restaurants and right next to the beautiful Chateau in Villandry. Breakfast was very good. Use of the Swimming pool was refreshing although there was an issue with the heater so a bit cool!
Rare and excellent views of Villandry from the accommodation. Very close to restaurants and bakery and Villandry. Very well decorated. Warm atmosphere. Easy check in with key at entrance with pin. Good advice from owner about area much appreciated. Highly recommended!
the view of the Chateau was lovely, especially in morning and evening with House Martins swooping about. The property is small but cute and well equipped and had everything we needed. Villandry was a lovely relaxing place to stay.
Very clean, quiet hotel in the middle of the countryside. good parking, staff went out of their way to be friendly & helpful - & came to my rescue with a uk adapter thank you. Set menu for dinner & buffet breakfast were good.
The hotel owner welcomed us like we are his family, we felt special and taken care very well by Pascal and his staff. The dinner was amazing and the location is very close to the Villandry. We will definitely come back again.
Excellent location just 2 minute walk from Villandry Chateau and Gardens. Good bar brasserie with excellent food. Free parking just opposite the hotel. Great little bakery nearby for breakfast coffee and croissants.
Beautiful property adjacent to amazing Villandry Chateau and gardens. Clean and quiet modern rooms. Friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast. Would definitely stay again!
The close location to Châteaux de Villandry. Right next door to this world class garden and châteaux. Everything we needed to cook our meals was in the kitchen.
Very friendly and very helpful staff. Private car park across the street. So close to Chateau Villandry and the River.
Nice spacious room with private bathroom.
