Number Four at Stow, hotel in Adlestrop

This boutique hotel is located alongside the A429, a minute’s drive from the charming market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. In the heart of the Cotswolds, it has free Wi-Fi and free parking.

I was all ready to be disappointed, because this hotel was a back-up to where we were supposed to stay. We were fortunate, because this hotel was nice. The place was clean, updated, peaceful, and relaxing.

Victoria House, hotel in Adlestrop

Victoria House offers luxury boutique room-only accommodations in Stow on the Wold in The Cotswolds.

The shower was worth the price of admission!! The room was elegant, comfortable and spacious. We had no problem with noise because we didn’t need to keep the window open but we were on the first floor front, right off the street, and in the summer that room might not be so perfect. But for us, in the middle of May, it was a dream.

Lords Of The Manor, hotel in Adlestrop

Formerly a 17th-century rectory, Lords of the Manor is set in 8 acres of secluded gardens and parkland.

Gardens & location were incredible. Loved, loved the 3-mile walk down to lower slaughter and back using the public foot path, etc. Loved just being on property & just enjoying, relaxing and soaking up the grounds, sunshine, flowers, lambs/sheep! Food - both breakfasts & dinners in The Dining Room were fantastic. (Chicken, cod and mint risotto w prawns) Bar - drinks and wine offerings very good. The outdoor spaces were plentiful & comfortable. Liked talking to Mike the Gardner.

Very professional service given, loved the overall character of the property, being a small working farm only added to the character. My party of three adults and one 8 year old child fell in love with the short holiday let. Only wished we could have stayed much longer, but be rest assured I’ll be back in due course.
