Went for the races so location was perfect. We also had a racecourse view which was a great bonus for us. Room was great. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was very nice food and reasonably priced for a 4 star hotel.

Friendly and efficient staff. Spacious and very comfortable room (triple). Excellent bedding. Nice and comfortable bathroom. Dinner possible nearby (across the car park). Very good breakfast, mainly for Englisch breakfast and variants; also yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, cereals, croissants available. Very quiet venue with ample parking but somewhat faraway from the motorway.

The building is beautiful and in keeping with it's period. Staff were very pleasant and polite. Food was scrumptious. Bedrooms were huge and lovely bathroom with everything you need. All areas were clean but glass on doors and windows could to be monitored a little more
