We visited for the Race to the Waves weekend, it was very well organised. Bridlington town was nice, it also had a few places we could take our dog - eg cafes/restaurants.
Old town is also worth a visit

It depends what people want.
It depends what people want. A good place for children, with rides on the front and arcades for games. We didn't go on the beach, too cold. Quite a few nice shops and cafes. Where we stayed was literally 5 minutes walk from the Spa theatre, which we went to for 2 evening shows. It also has a cafe. About 10 minutes walk to the harbour and town centre. It seemed to have plenty of buses for people staying further out.
There were 2 restaurants across from the theatre. A Mediterranean and a Chinese. We had meals at the Mediterranean, which were good and understood that the Chinese was also a good place to eat.
Fish and chip shops were also in the town centre.

We arrived in the rain, and found it tricky to find our way around eventually finding the harbour carpark. The seafront beyond the amusement arcades which look a bit rundown, is pleasant with a lovely promenade with good access for everyone.Lovely sandy beachtoo. We spent our visit at nearby Sewerby Hall and gardens, Flamborough cliffs and Bemptoncliffs. Marton Grange is a cosy haven after walking the coastal paths.

Wonderful place.
Wonderful place. Something for everyone, quiet parts, lively parts, child friendly, lots of spaces where dogs are allowed, clear notices where they are not. The promenade: lots of public toilets signed wit the distance between so you can see which is nearest. Nice to see the harbour. Lots of shops in the centre of town.

Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches.
Bridlington is a lovely seaside town with sandy beaches. You can indulge in some fish and chip shops and an ice cream while taking in the sea air along the sea front. There are a good range of shops. There are a good selection of restaurants too, we had a meal at a Chinese restaurant called Yips, the food was excellent. There is a cafe/bar called Jeromes on the pavilion where you can enjoy a drink and take in the sea view either sitting inside on a windy day or outside when it's warmer.
Very friendly owners who made us feel very welcome as the main owner came to greet us when we checked in who was very pleasant. Room was very clean and was a very nice family sized room. When we went for a drink in the hotel bar there was lot of games for the kids to keep them happy. Great location in Bridlington as only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the main front of the beach for all the main attractions. Definitely recommend staying here and when we next come back to Bridlington we will be definitely coming back to this hotel again.
I booked to stay here for when I finished cycling The Way of The Roses, and it was just perfect. I was able to securely store my bike, and parking was available for when my hubby arrived. The room was really beautifully furnished and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It was an added bonus to have breakfast amenities in the room, along with a fridge, and fresh milk was provided. If I end up in Bridlington again, this will be the first hotel that I try to book.
The Expanse Hotel is perfectly situated, you just have to cross the road and you're on the beach. My room not only had a sea view but also a balcony and because it was sheltered, it wasn't too chilly to sit out there with a cup of tea, even in February. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist (Sue I think), who was great. A booking mix-up (entirely my fault) was quickly and easily resolved. Breakfasts were great.
Everything was pristine and new. The host had left a basket, treats and blankets for the dog which was very thoughtful. Ideal location for us as we went to the Bridlington Spa and it is literally 2 minutes away. The apartment is not big but there is still plenty of space. It has a good entrance space where you can leave coats and shoes. The shower was really nice, everything worked. It was also easy to access the apartment as it has a key box.
The room was comfortable and clean and had everything that we would have expected to find. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We have been frequent day trip visitors to Bridlington in the past and have limited experience of other hotels. If we were to return would have no hesitation in rebooking The Monarch. Great location, easy to find , just a great all, round experience. Thank you Team Monarch!!
The property was lovely and clean and a good position for us to get into town and Bridlington Spa.
Sam was great, she met us upon our arrival, had left us flowers and some cakes which was very nice.
The kitchen was really well stocked with pots pans etc and all very clean.
It would have been nice to have a king size bed rather than the double but we’re used to king size at home sooo.
Would definitely stay again.
This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. Staff was very hospitable and went above and beyond for other guest's and my room spotless and nice bright and comfortable and with usb ports . It's Close to the beach good views it's a part of Bridlington which is a flat area not many hills ideal for people with mobility problems . Fantastic experience thank you seacourt. From Jason.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful with questions about Bridlington.
The breakfast were very good quality.
The location was 2 min walk from the sea front.
The cleanliness was spot on.
Restaurant around the corner called Aloha was amazing (pic of meal ncluded).
Beer garden in Restaurant called Salt was a sun trap even on a really windy.
As usual the Lobster Pot at Bridlington was up to the high standard for a Marston Inn. The room was clean and well presented. Both continental and full English breakfasts were good. We ate every evening in the restaurant and the menu was varied and catered for all requirements. The food was good and served by friendly and helpful stahh.
The lodges were beautiful, with gorgeous scenery and it was an extra bonus that our lodge was right next to the lake so we woke up to the ducks near us. The location was perfect, Bridlington south beach was only a few minutes away. The Luxury Lodges came with hot tubs which were really nice and we all very much enjoyed.
Good location just one street back from the sea front. Breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Only £3 parking charge for whole stay just outside the Hotel or very close by. We had a good sized well equipped room without a view which was a bit cheaper as we were out most of the time.
Even though the Royal Bridlington Hotel took payment from my bank account on Wednesday, when we turned up on Friday we were told that the hotel had over booked because the hotel had not seen the booking till Thursday evening, how can they say that if they took payment the day before!
Excellent Food ,spotlessly clean , attentive friendly staff and a big thank you to Tracy , nothing was too much trouble, excellent value for money. This will be our go to hotel in Bridlington. I cannot praise it highly enough and would recommend to everyone
