The location was good, easily accessible. The breakfast was great, food was delicious both days. The staff were great, Marta especially was very lovely, made us feel welcomed and well taken care of.
They seem kind of under staffed at the moment. I’m not sure if it was only during my stay but they dropped the ball a lot. For the price I had to pay to stay there it is not worth it. But the room was comfy and the staff that was there were very helpful, but very over worked.

Nice place and good gift shops and lovely views.
One thing which was awful was the harbour restaurant- thought we would treat ourselves to good meal as advertising in window slow cooked lamb. Overpriced and underwhelming and very rude owner. Do not waste your money here !!

We liked Nothing about the Lodge or surroundings if you are happy to have WEEDS around your lodge and DUSTBINS as a view and don't mind being behind a Hostel and Undertaker, then go for it. The lodge was not equipped for 3 audults, very small, we found 1 frying pan 1small pot, there was no brush to sweep floor, the kitchen units are dated and not fitted well. The showers were tiny. To Sum up initially looks good, but very poor on closer inspection. This is without a doubt nothing but a WORKHORSE TO MAKE as much money out of the guests who stay at this property. Whoever owns this property needs to get their act together as the 6 lodges are no more than an extension to the hostel. GIVE THIS PROPERTY A WIDE BERTH For 4 uncomfortable nights we paid just under £1200, and I do intend to take this matter further with the owner.AA.

Broadford is a boring "wide spot in the road" with little to "recommend" it. The highlight is the bus transfer station AND THE ONLY Co-Op full service grocery store...be sure and stop...few or no other choices. Keep on going...the scenery and driving on Skye are all better away from Broadford.

Beautiful location, very attractive little village, lots of places to stay and eat especially in season. Good starting point for all the trips we made over three days. Hebridean Inn best for food but Broadford Hotel worth a visit.

Broadford is well situated for a visit to Skye and also to take the wee ferry to Glenelg in the summer. It is a very small town with a couple of restaurants, a chip shop, a co-op and nice places to walk a dog by the shore.
This was an excellent hotel! We were able to get a last minute reservation and the owner put us on a large handicap accessible room with a kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bath. Everything was quite clean and the location of the property is in a farm like area just outside of the town of Broadford. We did not get a chance to see the rest of the mansion rooms or the unique cabins, but the location was wonderful. It would have been nice to stay here for several days. Highly recommend!
We booked this room as the last stop on our North coast 500 route, as a comfortable end to our trip as we had been wild camping. The hotel was well located on Skye with good amenities nearby. The room we got (number 10) was on the lower level and had an incredible view of the Loch.
The staff on reception were very nice and helpful, we didn't get chance to leve in person feedback as they were busy with guests and had been experiencing technical issues with the booking system.
The property is self-catering with kitchen basics provided, which made for a more relaxing stay than B&B accommodation. The cleanliness, space downstairs, fresh decoration and modern facilities including a downstairs toilet, living room TV, washing machine, dishwasher and added to the comfort of our stay. The location is good with a Co Op supermarket and filling station nearby in Broadford and it's not far from either the Skye bridge or ferry from Mallaig.
I loved everything. The house was uber-clean and bright. The host had been so kind to leave some complementary food for us on the table upon arrival and the lock with the key was easy to find.
The location is also pretty strategic, as the cottage is close to Broadford, which is probably one of the biggest centres of the isle of Skye, and you can find a Co-op supermarket and a petrol station at a distance of 2 minutes by car.
Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped bungalow with views out to the sea and hills. Great host communication, check in was very straightforward and the property easy to find. Located on the edge of Broadford with the local large co-op only 1km away. Enjoyed a meal at Claymore seafood restaurant at the bottom of the road. Was a handy base from which to explore other parts of Skye and the mainland. Highly recommended
A very comfortable and clean hostel on the Isle of Skye. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are willing to help you and recommend places to visit and eat. Close to the hostel there are several restaurants, a large supermarket and the cheapest petrol station along the way. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, as are the rooms.
Good position, easy to find, dog-friendly. We were in an inward-facing room, but it was clean, convenient and comfortable. For dinner we were given the table in the corner with fabulous views in two directions. The food was fine.
Best thing about this hotel is the service, which is outstanding.
The breakfast was beautiful, best scrambled eggs I've had at a hotel/b&b and has a beautiful view over the loch whilst you eat. Owners are lovely, very helpful and informative about what to do around Skye. Location is great, easy to find and right on the waters edge.
The room had a beautiful view across to isle of Scalpay. Our hosts were very helpful and knowledgeable about Skye. We much appreciated their restaurant advice which turned out very well for us. The breakfast room that doubled as a lounge and breakfast choice
The location was perfect for exploring Skye. The room was clean and nicely stocked. The breakfasts were excellent! When we needed to leave before the regular breakfast time, one of the staff gladly offered to make an earlier breakfast for us.
Very friendly staff and a good location. The rooms were fine. Midges...biting bugs....but that's normal for Scotland. Nice enough breakfast for the cost. We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view, nice building.
The cottage was in a great location for touring Skye. It was decorated well and an easy walk to Hebridean Inn for dinner. We also went to Red Skye for dinner another night and it was terrific.
Excellent accommodation, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Fresh milk, croissants and biscuits were available on arrival. Good location for touring the Isle of Skye
The property is gorgeous and the staff was the best… so friendly and kind. The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy. Best place we stayed in Scotland.
Hidden Gem of our trip for hotels. Little off season. We had perfect view from our hotel. Morgan was a one woman show. So friendly. Give this woman a raise.
