Good breakfast but could have been slightly bigger. (half a mushroom) All the staff were lovely. Lovely room we stayed in. Only one tiny bottle of shower gel and shampoo; two would have been better. One packet of waffles with 2 inside; again 2 packets would have been nicer.

Cardigan Castle disappointing, not much to see, may be of more interest to somebody wanting historical facts. To me a waste of time and money. Castle virtually non existent. Cardigan is a town that time has forgotten! For that it is pleasantly quaint. Nice cafes. Probably better on a fine day!

Quite a quaint town during the day but at night it does come alive especially the pubs. A really lovely range of shops and food places. A visit to the castle is a must. The best places are often the ones reccomended by locals. 2 days just wasn't enough for me, as just a little further out was glorious bays, beaches and mountains but more spectacular was the waterfalls

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather.

Beautiful area to stay despite the mixed weather. Went for a few walks on the coastal pathways which had breathtaking views. Cardigan was 10 minutes away by car. Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Crwst. This is a must for anyone visiting the area. Great pasta lunch at Berlotti's. A fairly good variety of shops in Cardigan. We also visited Theatre Mwldan during our stay to watch the latest Poirot film.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely home and rooms just outside of Cardigan. Wonderful fresh cut up fruit is served with your breakfast. Hostess was lovely and very accommodating. We needed an earlier breakfast in order to catch the Poppit Rocket bus to hike a stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The approximate mile long road approaching the lodging is a typical narrow country lane (with turnouts) that can be a little nerve wracking for those not accustomed to narrow roads. This establishment is well worth the drive down to it.

Travelling through South Wales so only stayed one night but would return and recommend. Hotel is exceptionally beautiful, what a treat to find this place. Our room was stunning and I could have lived in the spacious bathroom! The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and fresh. The view amazing, overlooking the gardens. Beautifully prepared breakfast and locally sourced food in the dining room listening to relaxing music. A perfect base to visit Cardigan and some of the amazing beaches which are unspoiled.

Central location in Cardigan town. There was no on-site parking but plenty of nearby carparks. The hotel is quite historic and therefore the rooms are a bit dated but fine - clean, tidy with adequate facilities for a one-night stay. The cooked breakfast the next day was plentiful with quality fresh ingredients: cereals and juice were also available. I didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked reasonable in both choice and price.

Truly stunning location with magnificent views over Cardigan Bay. The restaurant and bars face onto the views with lots of outside tables and seating too. The constantly changing light and weather make for ever-changing vistas. Huge room and bathroom. Super king-size bed which was very comfortable. Quick and efficient service in bars and restaurant. Easy parking.

The location is superb for town, yet was very quiet, even in the garden. The garden is lovely and has adequate privacy (great for yoga!). The cottage is very comfortable, relaxing and tastefully furnished. There was thorough information about the house, appliances, services and local area provided by the host in 2 well stocked files. Would definitely rebook.

The site was secure, safe and central to the town and West Wales with lovely views of the river. The room was beautifully furnished and finished. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was fascinating to stay somewhere with such a depth of history. Although the castle is in the centre of the town it is peaceful and private. It was a privilege to stay there.

Food was excellent and, breakfast was only improved by enjoying it on the terrace overlooking the rugged Cardigan Bay. We would definitely recommend The Cliff Hotel and look forward to a return stay.

Exceptional value for money, and convenient for dining in the town centre. The bathroom was fantastic, with one of the biggest, best showers I have ever used. I wish the bath towels had been bigger, though.
