Not much to see in Crewe but Nantwich lovely, oldy world buildings. Plenty of shops and markets. Crewe No food in pubs. No Wetherspoons, but found nice clean cafe Ozzys. Food and service very good. Nice people.

The architecture inside the Hall was stunning.
The architecture inside the Hall was stunning. We were able to walk around and admire it all due to there not being a function on. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and for breakfast. Excellent facilities including full kitchen, washing machine, dish washer. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful host. Free parking is nearby (less than 100 yards). I was contacted by the owner before arrival to understand accessing the key. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived. Spotlessly clean. TV and Wi-Fi available and bonus breakfast goodies to boot which we were not expecting. It really was a lovely stay and amazing value for money.

Welcome at reception quite cold. Very male orientated hotel and the security at the entry way a shock as the hotel don’t warn you of that. As a single woman travelling alone this is intimidating in the dark. A very cold welcome. There are cheaper, more luxurious options around.
