Very comfortable beds, slept really well, good evening meal and very good breakfast. Even the coffee was great.!! Would highly recommend for an overnight en route to the shuttle. Perfect and cosy small house with bathroom. Big bed, but for me mattress was very soft. There is a coffee machine with illy coffee.

The pub and rooms are set in a very quiet location, accessed by a single track road with passing places. The family room was really spacious even with the bunk beds. The wet room was a pleasant surprise as well. The actual pub is lovely as it’s been kept like an old Inn with hops hanging from the ceilings, old pictures and muskets hanging on the walls. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely exceptional full marks to their chefs. We only stayed the one night but popped back for dinner after visiting the Peony Farm which is about a 6 minute drive away.
The modern Holiday Inn Rochester-Chatham hotel has fully air-conditioned bedrooms, a leisure club (with indoor swimming pool) and 24-hour room service. Children stay and eat for free!
