The location was beautiful, surrounded by lovely gardens. Jane, the host, was very friendly. The breakfast was really nice and kept us going for the day. It was nice that there was only 1 room, so that made it feel like you had special treatment.

Droxford is equally distant from Portsmouth and Winchester and had other lovely small towns round about. The local walks are along little used roads which as the fields were wet was good. We walked to The Bat and Ball Pub in Cranfield, home of cricket and also to The Vines in Hambledon both easy walks.
