Do you research before you arrive so you have options for rainy days as well as indoor activities. Check opening seasons as well as many places close for the cooler months, and a lot of places now require online booking at timed allocations to ease congestion. Explore the country parks, beaches, historical English Heritage and National Trust properties, or take a train to London for the day and explore some of the amazing historical places and shops. We went to the tickled trout, for the sole purpose of visiting Hush heath vineyard, it was a a bit of a ride in a taxi from the pub and cost £50 worth the effort as we had quite a lot of wine at the vineyard Hic West Farleigh is a small village with nothing there really , there are some nice footpaths to walk along and you could spend a day wandering through green fields and along the medway .
