Nice, small town.
Nice, small town. We drank the first really good beer from a local (Black Isle) brewery! Very busy town, hard to find a place to eat if you have no reservation, didn't expect that in april. Lovely for a short stay though.

Fort William was as nice as usual however please note certain businesses are only open during tourist season. We also enjoyed filling up on the gondolas at Nevis Range. I must say though, try and avoid Caledonia hotel. The toilet was like what you get in a nursery and my private parts in the water. Carpet threadbare, wallpaper coming off the walls due to dampness, a very uncomfortable bed, adjoining door that we were not made aware of. Electricity was off on arrival and due to my dust allergies and at 3pm the room had not been cleaned, we left and checked in later. There was still dirt in the room and at the top of the bed, I caughed thru the night both nights. When it rained you could hear a loud drip from within the wall cavity. I'm not a confrontational person and didn't feel comfortable bringing the issues up with reception, so just be warned. The lift was out of order too. Beware room 220!!! Such shame being a brilliant location .
The property is perched on top of a hill offering a nice view from our room window. The bathroom has been tastefully updated and comes with all the toiletries you can think of. Place is clean and towels fluffy. Iron and ironing board are in the room in case you need it. On top of getting refreshed and a good night's sleep in our well appointed room, the host also serves a made to order hot breakfast in the morning. For the price the host is charging, highly recommend if you are looking for accommodation in Fort William.
Very friendly welcome. Nice touches in room with bottled water and even a chocolate! Room size was OK and the bed was comfortable. Good breakfast (from 0730) with choice for those who like a continental style meal. Good location at the end of Fort William High Street and quiet given the Hotel overlooks the Roundabout. Within easy walking distance of other Restaurants/Bars/Entertainment, but leave enough time if walking to the Railway Station.
We were in Fort William to climb Ben Nevis. We wanted to stay somewhere quiet and not in a hotel. We came across Number 6 and it was everything we wanted, clean (new and well looked after, the place looked and smelled great), quiet (didn't hear a peep), had a small pantry with kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer etc. Some goodies were also supplied....great job guys, really liked the place.
TV had on demand, Netflix and Prime :)
We loved the breakfast here! The staff were super friendly and the room was very cute and cosy. The hotel was also perfectly located to walk into Fort William and do some shopping with a short 15 min walk to the train station and bus stop. It was also only 40 min from the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which was breathtakingly beautiful (we definitely recommend that trip and this hotel!) Absolutely loved our stay here!!
Location convenient and stunning views. Busy road & long walk to Fort William on a narrow path.Lots of choice at breakfast but food to fuel you not excite & treat you. Good selection for evening meal & tasty. Reception really friendly attentive & a real asset to the hotel making the stay more enjoyable. Room clean, basic but has everything you need. Large carpark.
The property is just a short walk into Fort William overlooking the most magnificent views. It is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in, I mean properly spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided a warm welcome. I liked that the room had everything I needed, the bed was super comfortable and I liked having a lift as I was on the 3rd floor.
The location of the hotel is very central from the town of Fort William and various hiking experiences / trails like Ben Nevis and the Steall Waterfall. The rooms are spacious with enough storage space and are comfortable. We loved that we standardly got two pillows and two seperate bed sheets. The linen were very soft and we enjoyed our rest here.
The location in Fort Williams was excellent, near attractions, transportation, and a grocery store. Check in information was emailed, accurate, so no worries there. Overall, the one room was clean. No bed bugs or other unfriendlies. Given that other rooms sold for $250+ this room was half the price, so from a cost perspective, it was reasonable.
Beautiful location on the edge of Loch Linnhe, close to Fort William and walking distance to a hotel for an evening meal. The host could not have been more friendly or accommodating, happily dropped us off at the train station on our second day and helped organise a taxi for us to go further afield for an evening meal as well.
Andy and Carole were great hosts. They gave us suggestions and ideas for our stay in Fort William. Our room was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly. Breakfast was delicious especially the oats porridge. We also loved meeting Douglas the special spaniel with the perfect eye colour!
Hotel at the base of the Gondola at the Nevis Range resort. It is out of Fort William and very quiet at night in May. The bed was a double but was comfortable. Tea and coffee making was appreciated. It was convenient for the mountain bike park. I liked the art work by local artist Jack Spowart.
Janice and Scott were lovely hosts. The location of the manor to Fort William is amazing and the view of Ben Nevis from the room is breathtaking. Continental breakfast outside the door each morning was perfection. The quality of the food, the selection, and temperatures were perfect.
The location of the property is great. Places in Fort William (groceries, restaurants…etc.) are all reachable in 5-8 minutes by car.
My family and I immediately felt very comfortable and welcomed in the Guest House and Liz is such a lovely host. We can only recommend this place!
We liked that this was in a convenient location, but away from the hustle and bustle of Fort William. In addition, Lynda suggested a good dinner restaurant that we could walk too, and Scott made some awesome Scottish pancakes for breakfast.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close enough to Fort William town centre to not be an issue getting there yet far enough to get a calm atmosphere. The panoramic views of the loch were also fantastic!
Hotel is fantastic location, walking distance to shops, bars and basically anywhere you are looking to go in Fort William. Hotel was spotless, room was modern, cosy, and bed so comfortable. Restaurant food was absolutely delicious.
I did like all around Fort William, Glencooo ....an amazing place to visit. I did love the Scottish Bull.
I did love dinner at night in the restaurant the Stable grill. I recomend and I will definitely back.
Lovely staff, only 10 minutes walk to Fort William City Centre! Great pubs , restaurants etc. We were lucky to have drinks and then dinner on a big terrace at the Ben Nevis hotel!
