Newell Bistro and Rooms was a revelation. Large room with very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities, and although the price of breakfast was not included, it was excellent value - my husband said his best scrambled eggs and delicious espresso. We didn't get the chance to try their lunchtime French menu which was very inviting. Excellent value for the money - in room and breakfast.

Good location enroute for Devon. The shower was hot and fast. The evening meal was good pub food and the service was very good, the waitresses were very friendly.

Gemma (I think? Sorry if that's wrong) the hotel manager was absolutely fabulous and couldn't have been more welcoming. As it was my other Half's birthday they added some lovely touches to the room such as a heart of petals on the bed and a card from all the staff. The room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

Beautiful location stayed in the garden room which was a little bit tired but fantastic to be able to walk over to the swimming pool and spar. Didn’t have breakfast as it was only continental.
