Shout out to Tom on reception that made the whole check-in and experience very warm and welcoming. We stayed in one of the cottages, 2 couples and 2 dogs. The place was spacious and comfortable, with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. The sound of the running river by the window was an added bonus.

Great overnight stay in a lovely pub. Nice extras in the room such as bottled water, small wine and tea & coffees. Great location, right in the centre and finally good value for money as there was a sizable selection of breakfasts Inc in the price. I would stay again

The location is perfect, set back a little off the road. It's within walking distance of the bus stop if you want to venture out. There's plenty of amenities within a couple minutes walk. The room had a good amount of space and great facilities. The bathroom was beautiful and really spacious, despite a sewer smell coming up through the sink when using it. HUGE plus for us is it being dog friendly

Staff was amazing and couldn’t do more for you Food was delicious, the menu at night was unique experience to us was amazing. (Still can not stop thinking about the brie toastie!) Building was beautiful and made you feel like how it may of been back in the day being there. Windows, staircase and garden were remarkable

Beautiful decor and building in a great location. The breakfast was fantastic, room wonderful with lots of special touches. The staff were great too! We had a lovely stay and would definitely return.
