Absolutely everything. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. A lady working in the gardens came over and carried my suitcase to the door for me when I arrived. Restaurant staff were more than happy to change something on the menu if you asked.
The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel.
Whisky cream porridge brûlée was wonderful.
Reception staff were also very helpful and welcoming and they took time to explain everything.
The decor in the Lavendar bedroom was very tasteful with so much attention paid to detail. Fantastic tea/coffee station. Comfortable bed, small comfortable sofa to relax in and a fantastic powerful rain shower . NODM toiletries and throughout downstairs there was a beautiful subtle fragrance which I was told was a mixture of oils by Andy and Kim and it was not available to purchase sadly so I had to make do with a Cromlix candle.
All staff were smartly dressed and well trained.

Not an awful lot. Event being held in hotel so to be able to stay there was handy. I've stayed here before but this experience was poor.

Simple, but clean and comfortable, room in university accommodation. Good wifi. Very reasonably priced, with buffet breakfast in nearby block. Beautiful campus, very leafy and quiet, with footpaths separated from traffic. Small supermarket and cafe in main block a few minutes walk away.
Lovely staff, lovely reception rooms.
Absolutely no information on the hotel or surrounding area. No tea pot/ kettle. Poorly maintained plumbing . Hot water dangerously hot. One tiny bar of soap for 2 people for 2 nights.
Our room was not serviced the second day. No newspapers offered. No information about room service.

Food, room, ambience, inside and outside of hotel,...
Food, room, ambience, inside and outside of hotel, perfection. Staff service impeccable. Down to the television, which we were searching for, discreetly hidden behind a tv mirror, television when you switch tv on and functional mirror when tv switched off. All in all one of, if not the best hotels I have stayed in overnight.
