Room was nice and for 4 of us £125 the night wasn’t to bad but the food is expensive £14 for breakfast i mean come on if it was half that then you would sell more and people would be happy dinner are expensive to £20-£30 and meal which you can get down the road for £10 apart from the food it’s really nice

The room was very comfortable and for me had the advantage to have windows that open, on the forth floor just around the corner from the lift I could not hear.
I booked on booking.com and found the cost a little high but it was a saturday night in june... however the property offered me a very good rate when I decided to stay on the sunday night.
The room was quiet and fresh and the bed excellent. The bathroom adequate but I did not like the clingy plastic curtain in the shower. I dont expect they can dip clean those between customers and the thinking that this curtain would have touched someone else's body the night before was not to my liking.
The staff was really useful and so friendly and very helpful indeed.
I had diner there on sunday after teaching all day and it was ok although not expensive. I had quick breakfast there on both days. Porridge was glorious but the egg dishes on the second day not that terrific I would not have this again.
The location was amazing and easy to find, the parking such a great thing specially with an overflow I could use on the saturday night when it was obvious that everyone in town was in the pub below the hotel and had used the carpark before I arrived.
Overall I would go back off course I would just not use the food option.

This was such a unique cosy place to stay, absolutely amazing and the complimentary scones on arrival from the bakery were unbelievable. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Excellent bed and breakfast facility in a rural setting in a converted farm.
Well appointed rooms, extremely comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facilities with both bath and separate shower. The owners were friendly, responsive and helpful in accommodating a number of requests relating to staggered check ins, dietary requirements and additional guidance information on directions etc.
As we were attending a family wedding in a historic setting several miles away the location was ideal and we all had a terrific sleep and wonderful full Scottish breakfast to recharge our batteries before heading off.

We stayed in lodges 1 and 3.
We stayed in lodges 1 and 3.
We were greeted by Kate the owner when we arrived.
Lodges were modern, clean and Lodge 1 had a lounge with cooking facilities.
The view from our bedroom over looked a field.
The field had a horse that came up to the hedge near the window.
It really is out in the countryside.
Highly recommend. It's a little gem.

Ladybank near Cupar, Scotland was close by Downfield House...
Ladybank near Cupar, Scotland was close by Downfield House and Garden. To get to Downfield House involves a country road and a 25% hill climb, Then a rough farm track to the house. But Mr Tooley the owner is most helpful, and kind, The bed in our room was very, very comfortable. although the house is not disabled friendly. But the view from our bedroom window was great. only problem we had was no mobile phone signal. So a blessing in disguise
The location is excellent, near Ladybank for your grocery shopping, or to go on the A92. It's also out in the countryside, so very quiet, we slept like logs. It's not far to St Andrews, or the coast, Falkland Palace 6 miles down the road, etc
The bed is very comfortable, one of the best we have encountered. Washing machine, convection oven/microwave present. Really nice owners. Local cockerel doodled dood at a decent hour. Swans and geese flying over.
Good hot tub, in screened off area.
This was perfect; a remote location but close to amenities in ladybank and for those that love walking you’ve an abundance of local or close by walks to choose from.
The Hot Tub was a perfect way to end the evening; anyone staying here longer than 4 days then place has its own washing/drying facilities to cater for your needs.
The lodge itself was immaculate.
