Lyzzick Hall Hotel, hotel in Lorton

Situated on the beautiful lower slopes of Skiddaw, Lyzzick Hall Hotel offers impressive mountain views and an on-site restaurant with extensive wine cellar.

The hotel and the location are absolutely stunning! I booked a superior room, so it was expensive, but i am pleased i did, as it was beautiful. I could see the mountains from my room and the bathroom was the size of a small house. Bed was comfortable (and large!) and the restaurant food was AMAZING! Staff super friendly and incredibly accommodating!

Lorton valley isn’t that well known so not over populated by tourists. Retains authenticity of the region with great local places to eat and an abundance of outdoor experiences which cost nothing but give huge rewards in terms of achievement and mindfulness
