Breakfast was very good. Such a beautiful setting right on the river. Very relaxing.
Hotel staff great. We had dinner there which was well presented and tasty, and reasonably priced.
Our room was comfortable overlooking the bridge and river. We had a twin room and the beds were
very narrow, not uncomfortable as we are small people, but narrow.
Lovely location also easy walking to everything. good parking. Would stay there again.

The room was just amazing, old Tudor period with exposed beams (in a good way) huge 4 poster bed, plenty of room with 2 sitting areas with comfy seats and views out on to the main road (for lots of people watching!) The bathroom was right out of a 5 star hotel. And then the outside of the building (not something you often think of!!)..... just beautiful, must be seen!!
On average, 3-star hotels in Ludlow cost € 188.52 per night, and 4-star hotels in Ludlow are € 153.98 per night. If you're looking for something really special, a 5-star hotel in Ludlow can on average be found for € 142.28 per night (based on Booking.com prices).
A beautiful historic town with a wonderful castle.

Ludlow was a Market town, (but not exceptional), with a fine castle. Their were several recommended restaurants which were mostly fully booked although we ate one night in 'The George'. Getting around Ludlow was simple although parking was a nightmare.
Eating at pubs in surrounding Villages is probably a better option, where greater choice and better value is available. We visited two and had exceptional meals, especially at The Lion' in Leintwardine which is highly recommended

Ludlow is an old market town with numerous attractive buildings - every lane and road in the centre is ancient and interesting. Lots of places to eat and it looked as though there were interesting shops too (this was a very short stay). The market square, Assembly Rooms and the castle are set at the top of the hill. The deli in the square sells excellent things - which I took back home for supper. The hills are steep, but worth the walk if you can manage it, for instance down to the river - where I had an excellent breakfast overlooking the water (unforgettable view - and kingfishers if you're lucky). My dodgy knees complained, but not enough to put me off.
The central parking is free between 6pm and 8am and, very thoughtfully, fees paid after 6 pm automatically carry forward to 8am onwards, so no rushing to get to the car park before 8am - who wants to do that on holiday?
I haven't even touched on the amazing views and the glorious countryside around the town
I'll definitely go back

It has rightly got a reputation for foodies, there were plenty of options and markets most days selling all kinds of produce. It's quite hilly in places so need to take that into account. Good transport links to Shrewsbury, Hereford and beyond. Lovely small town friendly feel to all the areas we visited.

The town was beautifully clean, quite busy as there was a market on when we visited, plenty of places to eat . It also has the added bonus of the castle, which is worth a look around.
Surrounded by wonderful countryside and many walks to enjoy.
Location brilliant for access to everything you need in Ludlow. Full English breakfast was amazing plentiful and really tasty. Lots of other choice too including cereals, fruit, toast, jams and marmalade. Couldn’t fault the service. Rooms a little on the small size however what more do you want other than to get your head down at the end of the night. Bed really comfortable. Great choice of drinks from larger to ales, wines and spirits. Hotelier’s were amazing lovely stay fantastic conversation will definitely be back.
Dinham Hall Hotel was in an excellent location for exploring the sights of Ludlow, located directly apposite the castle, a few minutes walk down to the river, 2 minutes walk to market and 5 minutes walk to shopping centre, pubs, restaurants. Free car parking onsite, very friendly staff and breakfast was delicious with range of cold and hot options. Room was small but it was clean and had all the essential with good working shower and bath. I will definitely stop again when I go back to Ludlow.
The breakfast was bespoke and out of this world with incredible thought and care taken towards our meal preferences. Amazing outlook towards a vegan diet and completely accomodating towards that end too
If you want great conversation over breakfast and a wonderfully mannered hostess then i can highly recommend the green dragon of ludlow.
Highly and happily recommend multiple nights.
The bed is wonderfully comfortable.
Absolutely loved our stay and will be repeating our visit again.
Hotel is in a lovely setting - there are no real grounds and it is not in Ludlow, but we enjoyed the walk in.
Ample free parking and room was quiet.
Very good tea/coffee facilities - fresh milk. Although you had to call reception for homemade cookies - unclear whether there was a cost attached?
Soft large towels and good quality toiletries.
receptionist was very pleasant - check in and out was painless.
The ‘cooked’ breakfast was good.
Sally met us with the keys, we were slightly early however Sally put herself out to meet us. The cottage is absolutely brilliant!
We have been to Ludlow many times and always enjoyed it. This time, because of the cottage, facilities (the wood burner) ,the welcome and especially the location we had a fantastic few days. We are planning on returning in May. Very highly recommended.
Hotel had fantastic location few min walk into Ludlow with good parking. The restaurant and bar areas very nice and the roof bar had a lovely view over the river which was a highlight of our stay. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed our evening meal especially my crab risotto which was delicious. The room was small but was nicely decorated.
Excellent hotel. Very friendly & helpful staff. Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with quite a lot of choice.
We also had our evening meal here. This surpassed our expectations.
The carpark is just at the side of the hotel and very convenient.
The Feathers Hotel is just on the edge of Ludlow & is a very short walk into town.
Location was perfect has we stayed there for the horse racing unfortunately it got called off.But we went into Ludlow itself and it was very nice the bus stop is outside the hotel so was perfect an cost £2 and a 5/10 minute journey we will b going back at some point this year the room was really nice couldn’t have asked for better.
The hotel location was great - you could walk into the centre of Ludlow or easily out into the lovely countryside. The hotel overlooks open fields on one side and it was very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful, it was lovely being waited on instead of the usual buffet style in most hotels these days.
The staff were very welcoming, we arrived early and they held our bags until the check in time.
The hotel is centrally located in Ludlow, the room was excellent; it was clean, comfortable and we had a roof terrace.
Breakfast was superb as well.
We will definitely be returning soon.
We had a tastefully furnished flat which was very cosy on rainy days and it had a small kitchen. The house is close to Ludlow centre and in walkable distance to all its sights and amenities. There is a cafe at ground floor with a nice rear garden terrace.
The breakfast was excellent as was the host, a lovely, kind man with a sense of humour. My son and I would recommend this hotel to any of our friends looking to spend a holiday in Ludlow. Ours was a wonderful experience.
Breakfast was excellent, piping hot, good quality produce. Plenty of parking, always a bonus.
Approx. 10 minutes walk into Ludlow. Friendly staff. Overall a very pleasant break away. Would stay here again.
