We had both breakfast and dinner during our stay and the menu, quality of the food and service was excellent. The hotel is priced well, is welcoming and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly and we would not hesitate to stay there again. It was a very good experience.

Really nice little pub with good food and staff situated in a good place to explore the Cotswolds from. The town it's located is a gem of a little place and added to whole experience. Would definetley stay here again. Had probably the most comfortable bed we slept in whilst we spent a couple of weeks driving around England and southern Scotland. It also has off street parking which is great.

Marston Meysey is a lovely old style village in a very attractive country location. It is close to some beautiful places to visit such as Bibury, Arlington Row, Lechlade and is very close to Fairford Airbase.
For shopping purposes you have Cirencester and Swindon within about 30 minutes drive.
You need your own transport to get the best of this lovely area.

Lovely area for walks and conveniently located for drives to surrounding villages and towns such as Cirencester, upper and Lower Slaughter, Bibury and Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold etc
We stayed at The Old Spotted Cow for one night as it was so much cheaper than staying directly in the other towns but was close enough to be the perfect stop over between town hopping all weekend, saved us around £130 a night to stay here instead!! If you do stay The Old Spotted cow is the place to be, gorgeous rooms, nice cosy stonewall pub with delicious food! Friendly staff who go the extra mile to make your stay special and can recommend places to visit and things to do

I liked Marston Meysey itself.
I liked Marston Meysey itself. I also liked the little villages and towns nearby, such as Quennington and Fairford. Many beautiful villages are easy to reach from Marston Meysey if you have a car. It is a good spot from which to explore the Cotswolds, and appreciate how lovely this area is.
