A lovely old country inn surrounded by beautiful countryside and away from the main towns of Stroud and Cirencester. All the staff are excellent and very welcoming. I liked the location and the bed was fantastic. Wellness slippers were included which was great, because of the carpet in the room.

Frampton Mansel is a lovely little village with interesting church and magnificent countryside views. The pub is ancient, but accommodation is in a new block which is clean and well-kept. The food is excellent.

Our room was amazingly comfortable, bed, duvet, soft towels, and refreshments were all first-class! It was spotlessly clean. The restaurant had a very varied, brilliant menu, with lots of choices for vegetarian diners - thank you! We have booked to stay again very soon. It's also a short drive into Cirencester and neighbouring towns. Very pet-friendly!

    The countryside is stunning.

The countryside is stunning. The hiking along the canal, through woods and fields, or up to a neighboring village was rreally terrific. Horse, sheep and cow farms, quaint villages, and cafes dot the landscape. The nearby towns of Winchcombe (Belas Knap trail and Sudeley Castle) and Painswick, Tetbury and Old Sodbury are all fun. As are, I'm sure, many that we didn't have time to wander through.

The Crown Inn is exceptional the room was very clean and comfy with a beautiful view. The food is of very high quality and they use local produce. We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful they go that extra mile to make sure your stay is as you would want it, they are genuinely interested in how your day has been and always greet you with a warm welcome. Will definitely visit here again.
