We ended up staying a second night as it was a great spot. It’s a lovely old pub and well worth staying. Very good value.

Location and easy access. Our rooms were across the road so we were not disturbed by the noise or any other issues. Comfortable . Lovely beer garden and nice breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful . Highly recommend the area as lots to see . Perfect for our night away to attend a wedding party . We got a taxi company number and they were brilliant too . Central location exceptionally clean room . Good was good and always. Staff were so friendly. My husband is in a wheelchair and there wasn’t an accessible room available and o was quite worried but no reason to ! Room was exceptionally spacious and bathroom had a separate shower enclosure and bath - the only thing might have been if you had limited mobility it might have been a struggle to get in and out of the bath / shower but my husband managed. We chose town view room - lovely view over Tay bridge
