It’s a lovely traditional pub located in the heart of the village of Kettlewell. A good voice of food on the menu including vegetarian options. Food in the evening was tasty with good sized portions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nicely decorated and clean.

Nice, quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable. Great shower. Complementary tea and coffee was welcome. Spacious dining room. Nice to have breakfast in the conservatory. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and it was very good. Great choice on the evening and breakfast menus.

Good location for lovely plentiful walks especially anyone...
Good location for lovely plentiful walks especially anyone interested in bird/ mammal watching of which there are numerous species e g curlew, oystercatcher, willow warbler etc.Also close by are wildflower meadows. Only 20 minutes by bus to Skipton (which also has a railway station, good shopping great castle and walks plus e v charging point at Morrisons )which run reasonably frequently from Grassington so getting around is good for a country location even without a car. They do filming of all creatures great and small at Grassington at certain times as this is one of its main locations. Great cafe for breakfast was the corner cafe , great plentiful food, good coffee and service reasonably priced although the decor is not Ritz standard !! Great for a young family holiday but probably not so good for toddlers.

Loved our stay, cosy and comfortable. Stayed in on our second night and was very relaxing. Amazon and Netflix access so a real home from home. Bed comfortable, great kitchen etc. For cooking breakfasts and our dinner on the second night. Lodge decorated very tastefully and modern, all home comforts. Ate at old hall in the first night 15 min walk away, great atmosphere and food. Easy to get to grassington, nice village. A beautiful Dales village just a short, down hill walk, into Grassington. Threshfield has an excellent pub called The Old Hall Inn that sells gorgeous food and even does take away. I recommend the Threshfield Quarry Walk , is a beautiful circular walk with lots to see.PaulaUnited Kingdom

It was easy to walk into Threshfield and Grassington, and to go for local walks as well as to shops for postcards, a few groceries, ice cream etc. The cake on arrival was delicious and appreciated, and we found the whole property to be in really good condition and comfortable. Also, I had an odd liking for the armchair in the bathroom.
