A lovely setting and very pleased with hotel, room and breakfast.
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough is opposite and close to the A1. Large rooms are en suite and there are excellent leisure facilities including a pool and gym.

This is a recently refurbished old hotel which has had no expense spared to bring it up to a very high standard. The ambience is excellent, high level of finishing and comfort. Wansford is a charming old village which is very quiet. The hotel sits next to the River Nene giving a lovely peaceful rural feel. A great place to meet friends and stay.

A beautiful village that has very easy access to all the main routes. The properties in the village have great charm and elegance with not a piece of litter in site. The residents are clearly, and rightly so, very proud of their village. There is a hotel and a very inviting pub/restaurant (both dog friendly) there are also some lovely little shops and a Post Office.

The Haycock Hotel was great with a lovely cafe across the road and pub. It was also handy to have a corner shop to get the paper in the morning. There were lovely walks from the village and not too far to nearby villages with good pubs for a drink or meals. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Everything was really very good, but the whole place is VERY worn. Staff all good, evening meal (Food) very good, just a very unfriendly restaurant atmosphere. Table very plain. No music, TV on but couldn't hear it!
Was no clean path up to the reception. Don't think it had been swept for weeks?
Lovely king room in newly refurbished wing, with outside seating area. Bed very comfortable. Staff were welcoming. Hotel is just off the A1 but heard no road noise from our room through double glazing. Large parking area. Only stayed 1 night. Had supper there too. Waited a little while for food but it was delicious when it arrived. Wines a bit over-priced (the full wine list had a better choice). Breakfast was excellent.
The hotel has recently been refurbished and both our bedroom and all the communal areas were beautifully decorated.
We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel which were both excellent.
We really liked the hotel, which is conveniently located next to the A1, and will definitely return this year.
The village is pretty as well.
Hotel nicely furnished noisy very early in the morning with corporate businessman.(6.30 shouting and banging cars doors outside the bedroom windows) Breakfast OK beans were like the had been cooking for days and bacon was fried belly pork all fat, most people wouldn't have eaten it.
It was all great. The staff were fantastic, the room gorgeous.
The hotel has been lovingly restored to ensure the period elements remain a feature.
It was a lovely relaxing stay
We had our Wedding here and it was such a lovely venue. Clean and ouzed quality! All staff very helpful and friendly. Food at the hotel was exceptional, 100% would stay again!!
The hotel is very quant with lots of character. the room was well appointed, comfortable, clean and very bright with glass doors leading onto the patio/garden.
The history of the hotel. The decor following recent refurbishments. The furnishings were to a very high started. We really liked the bar and the breakfast.
Very comfortable ground floor bedroom with doors out onto patio, excellent shower room and great bed. Rest of hotel looked stylish and newly decorated.
