They are currently under renovation but that didn't really interfere with our stay. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was excellent and there was a full bath. Breakfast was excellent. They showed our luggagebon arrival (early) and on departure. This is the perfect hotel if arriving by train. 10 minute walk into Chester center

It's a large hotel with a back garden terrace, lawn and paths where we could release our dog and let him roam.
We liked the "help yourself" buffet breakfast, our room was comfortable and clean, and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately we hadn't packed our swimming costumes, so we missed out on using the large spa pool. We will be sure to pack them next time.
