The location was on the map, walking distance to everywhere, clean and safe. The breakfast was great and especially Miss Gregorya made us very happy with her smiling face and attention.

The location. It is central and the front of our balcony is a taverna with sunbed and umbrella AND the entire street is lined up with tavernas, sunbed + umbrella (no cost, only purchase a drink or something), coffee shops, supermarkets.
The property was exquisitely clean and sanitized. Also, it is safe. Left our belongings and the things were secure.
Also, the owners are well managing the property. The great grand dad who is 91 years old is very hands down greeting us and very sweet.

Petra is a really lovely village. It is very traditional and little changes from year to year. There is a choice of beaches - the main village beach and also Avlaki beach (our favourite) at one end of the village. There is an excellent range of bars and tavernas and the food at all the ones we tried was delicious. The ‘Caravan by the Sea’ (just a little further on from Avlaki beach) deserves a special mention - food and service are superb.
There is a lovely friendly atmosphere in the village and it is a beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing break.

It is 5 mins away from Molyvos which is the Mykonos of the island. The beaches, restaurants and cafes are great and inexpensive. Met some travellers from England who have been visiting Lesvos for over 25 years and I now know why.
Public transport to and from Petra is on time and very reliable.

I liked the village, I liked the houses, I found a wonderful tavern to eat (Zigos), the church on the rock is fabulous.I have been to many places, but most people I was impressed about Zigos tavern wich is not on the beach.Every day, no matter where we went, in other villages, on other beaches, we would return to eat at Zigos. The tavern is not on the main street but, attention is a signboard with the name of the location.Instead, too many stones on the beach, I preferred Anaxos beach.

Traditional old Greek village of character with winding cobbled streets built on a fertile coastal plain - so easy for walking!!. Plenty of facilities such as ATMs, minimarkets, taxis, buses to nearby resorts and free wifi and beds on the beach if you buy a drink. Sit in wonderful tavernas, especially along the seafront, built on wooden platforms onto the beach where you can listen to the waves as you eat and sip an ouzo or a local wine. Visit the church of Panagia Glykofilousa "Lady of the Sweet Kisses" and climb the 114 steps for a prayer or a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. Not a place for thumping dance music and rowdy nightlife but a great base for older couples who want to soak up a more traditional Greek atmosphere and relax on a sandy beach with stunning sunset views.

A small village right on the coast with plenty of restaurants and bars and a god selection of supermarkets. Very quiet and relaxed pace of life. Good place as a base to explore most of the island with a car.
the hotel is literally across the beach. take your towel, walk 10 seconds and swim. the Staff is helpful. there are lots of restaurants and cafes around the hotel. The Petra city is a small village anyways and everything is within walking distance.
The rooms looked like as if they are from the 80s but everything in the room was clean.
the public areas of the hotel was also clean. AC was performing well.
Friendly staff. Beautiful apartments with nice balconies and all the white appliances included and in a very good price.
It's location is perfect and it is very quiet.
I did not expect to like Stella Apartments so much even though I was the one who made the booking.
Totally recommend it and I will come back whenever I will have to stay in Petra
Great location just a few steps away from the shops of Petra. You can buy food or drinks from supermarkets, bakeries, consume at the hotel without any problems. Sea is a few hundred meters walk. Petra is a perfect location for travelers if you have little children because it is almost flat and the sea is great, sandy beaches, very decent food.
The best one in Petra! The rooms were really great, big, new, tasteful furnished and very clean. We liked the street and the streets around. It is not easy to find such a perfect place to stay in Petra. Also the owner, Dimitra was such a great host, helped for everything. She is so nice and warm. We thank her for eveything:)
Everything. Rooms are spacious, garden is beautiful. The rooms are clean. You can walk to the best part of petra beach. The rooms have 2 terraces to sit and they have shades. The owner is very friendly and polite. The price/performance top!
Situated in the center of Petra village and there is plenty of parking in front of the hotel if you choose to drive there. You get a lovely seaview if you choose the seaview rooms. Bed is very comfortable!!
The owners, especially Niki was so concerned about us. The place was so close to Petra commercial center and the sea. The room was clean and has enough facilities to stay, cook and enjoy the holiday.
The staff was amazing, the views wonderful and breakfast was beyond expectations! The pool is great, and overall the hotel is clean! It was a really pleasant stay,I wish we could stay longer!
The location was great as there was a great tavern and beach next to the hotel.
In general it was a clean, spacious hotel with a good sized hotel and a balcony with a beautiful view.
Location is perfect, very close to beach and centre of Petra. You can find what you need in the room and with complimentary gifts. The hospitality of the owner was very nice.
A wonderful hotel, located in a magnificent place. Very friendly and nice staff taking care about every small detail.
