Garden County Glamping, hotel in Newtown Mount Kennedy

Offering a garden, Garden County Glamping offers accommodations in Newtown Mount Kennedy. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

Kevin was the soundest man and made our stay very comfortable. He left loads of fire wood out, gave us red wine and we spent the night gazing at the stars. We made great use of the BBQ for breakfast. The set up is so cosy and warm. We woke up both mornings forgetting we were glamping. Most comfortable bed!! We went to the alpaca trail, Wicklow wolf brewery, devil's glen, glendalough mountains, great sugar loaf. Will definitely be returning as there is so much to see in Wicklow.

Lovely little town close to the Wicklow mountains. We did the Sally Gap drive and saw lots of deer. Bring binoculars! On the outskirts of the town is the Wicklow Wolf beer premises. Good beer with a nice seating area. Tea, coffee, snacks also available.

Breakfast was excellent and very well organised. Staff were very friendly and in particular the bar and restaurant staff. The room was spacious and extra towels were provided as no cleaning was carried out while we were in the room. Bottles of water were also provided complimentary and it was no problem if anything extra was requested during our stay, eg extra water or toiletries. Also the hotel was in an excellent location for touring Wicklow and there were many scenic places to visit and walking trails.

The hotel has an excellent location for exploring all of Wicklow. It has good car parking, which can be an issue at other hotels. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food in both the bar and restaurant was very good indeed and good value. The leisure facility is well worth visiting too, and with a booking system in place it ensures it’s not too crowded during the session. Our room was very clean and well maintained and serviced.

Food and staff very nice. Management were in view throughout our stay. B&B was a bit pricey (based on similar hotels we'd booked for this trip) but the lounge menu items were good value, nicely presented and tasty. Beautiful grounds to walk in, including a wood. Nice pool if a little busy. Room large, with large bright window. Hotel has beautiful views over the valley. Location good for touring Wicklow.

Absolutely beautiful setting, surrounded by the golf course, our room was really comfortable with lovely views, huge bed, bath robes and slippers provided, worth paying for a room overlooking the course. great pool and sauna and steam room, gym was ok. Ate in garden room and bar which was nice, my husbands beef burger was apparently amazing! Would definitely return to this hotel.

This resort is 5-star! Our room was large with very comfortable beds. The indoor pool is warm, big, and well maintained (although the floors were quite slippery) and the staff at both the Leisure Center and the hotel are friendly and informed. We had excellent dinners two nights -- one in the main restaurant and lighter fare in the bar area.

Facilities were clean, room was a great size, bonus was the patio doors to the small balcony overlooking the park and terrace. Restaurant/bar food was great and good value. Newtownmountkennedy is so central to a lot of local visitor attractions, and this hotels accessibility to the N11 is a big bonus!
