Nayalap is a treasure nestled among the hills of Kumaon. Peaceful surroundings, pristine natural beauty, pure mountain air and surrounded by gorgeous forests and orchards does not even begin to describe its excellent location. A perfect place for family or friends to spend some quiet and quality time in the lap of nature - far enough from the crowds.
The accommodation exceeded our expectations and lacked nothing of comfort. The staff was extremely courteous and prepared the most stunning meals. The local cuisine was really special. Chandan ji went out of the way to make sure that all our needs were well taken care of promptly.
No words of praise are enough for the host Tanuja ji. Her personal touch in everything, from accompanying us on the moderately difficult but refreshing forest walk, explaining and describing the flora and fauna, going with us on a wonderful picnic to the creek - to helping us out when we got stuck with a mechanical problem with our car, made our stay at Nayalap memorable.
